I bought a size up and didn't need to. Its true to size. It's thin enough for a cooler day and will be great for a fall event. I bought it to wear to a fall wedding and then I waterproofed it. It's a really nice looking trenchcoat and I couldn't beat the price.

I bought the red and the khaki in xLarge which fit me. This is different fit, this coat in xLarge fits bigger, and the inside lining is different from the red and khaki. I was going to buy the black one before fall but I'm afraid to risk it so its likely better I don't take a chance wasting my money if the black one isn't like the other two. I'm a home bound with no way to run back and forth just to return this coat so I will just take the lost which hurts, donate it to "coats for winter". I was so happy to buy each color but like I said returning if it doesn't fit is not an option for me.
