5'11" @190lbs with an athletic build and I found the large size to be a bit too tight in the arms and chest to wear a suit jacket underneath. I feel like long sleeves or a sweater would be too tight too. If you're OK with wearing a T-shirt or maybe dress shirt under the jacket, this jacket would work. Of course, when in doubt, order a larger size. I found the length to be decent and the coat had a nice "heavy" feel (not too heavy, but a good weight for a jacket to keep you warm). ... show more

It feels like crushed fleece more than wool. The price is good if you're looking for something that will look nice in pics. I dont think it'll keep you very warm, which is a shame because i LOVED the fit and look. This was a Christmas gift for our son. He is 6'2 and 220lbs. We bought the XL for him. Everyone who sees him wear it says it looks like it was made just for him. Perfect fit! He wears it everywhere. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Delivery was quick! I was worried it wouldn't be here by Christmas because I ordered it late, within 3 days it was here. My son is autistic, so texture is huge for him. He has no trouble with the texture of this trench coat. The texture comes out to feel like wool to me. I will defiantly order this again.
