I bought these because I recently have foot problems, plantar fasciitis. None of my shoes work anymore, so I went on a frenzy and bought several sandals to get by until I get proper insoles. My shoes size is 7 but I’ve got these in 7 1/2 , they fit great just the way I like it. There are some cushion below the toe area. They are comfortable and I wear them everyday for several months now. They however do need breaking in. The 2nd buckle (furthest from toes) on both sides rub against the top of your feet and that hurts a lot. I had to put bandage on to cushion it for several days. Even still I like them a lot because I care more about the comfort of the bottom of the feet. Does that make sense? And it’s affordable, look good, come in an array of colors. ... show more

I was surprised at the softness of the vegan "leather". I had to tighten mine just a little because I have narrow feet 🦶🏻 but it was easy and they fit perfect. I ordered my usual size and they are just right. I must say though that they are slippery on certain surfaces. For instance a convenience store I was in. I got these about a month ago, and wanted to to write a review of these after I’ve worn them for a while. I’ve never had Birkenstocks so I can’t say how these compare to the real ones. I originally bought a pair of size 9, because that’s what I normally wear, however they were too short so I had to return and order a 9.5 which is what these are. These shoes are pretty comfy. When I first put them on, I noticed how cushioned they are. Overtime, they’ve slowly molded to the shape of my feet, and so now there is basically an indent in the cushion that my foot sits comfortably. I’ve worn them almost every day, and have noticed quite a bit of wear on the soles. Given, I live on a college campus so I am walking around with these quite a bit. The soles feel pretty soft and have worn down on the heel on one foot down to the cork. I tend to drag my feet when I walk, but I also think this is something that normally happens when you walk in sandals or slippers. The straps have remained intact and feel pretty secure still to the shoe. As you can see in the pictures, there is some creasing in the front where my foot bends to walk. Overall, I am happy with the product. I only have it a 3 out of 5 because I’m not sure how much longer these will last me, and also because of the ill fitting-ness of my original pair. I got them as a knock-off-Birkenstock to have until I can afford real ones, so this may not be an issue for me. However if you are hoping to have these to last, I would recommend investing in the real kind since they seem to be more durable. ... show more
