I read a review about this leaf blower yesterday and decided to get one and I don’t write reviews to often BUT I know that I’m being a little bit premature because I’ve only had it for a few hours but WOW THIS THING IS GREAT it’s so good that I ordered a extra battery and got the warranty insurance , it’s been a long time since I’ve been impressed with a product a cross the board , the price, quality and the product’s performance for me so far it’s a winner for me hands down I’d recommend it

This battery-powered blower works well. A charged battery lasts for a long time. This blower does the job well, for a daily removal of a constantly shedding tree that falls into my patio. Yu can actually control the speed and strength of the blower’s air-flow with the off/on trigger on the blower. And the Turbo button works well, giving you a boost of powered airflow when you may need it.

I chose the Somorei YS-780 over other brands’ 20V-powered units for the extra punch provided by the 40V 5.0Ah battery, and the price. Videos of the unit in action seemed to show better debris-moving performance than other blowers. I get heavy build-up of leaves and pine straw on my roof and needed power to equal the corded unit I have used in the past. The Somorei met my expectations. The trigger-activated motor allows graduated speed control from 0 to full speed, with a turbo switch for maximum power. In use the unit is convincing of its advertised 650 CFM, 190 MPH velocity claim. Being able to control and vary air flow using only the trigger is simpler than other models, facilitates more efficient work, and conserves battery power. The battery has more than enough life on a full charge to allow clearing my entire roof of debris. So far so good. But good luck trying to find replacement batteries. The unit ships with one battery and I have scoured the web looking for this battery without success. The contact information for the company is another issue. The URL given for the Somorei website returns a weird warning message reminiscent of phishing and similar scams. An email message sent to the address given in the literature has yet to be answered. But at this point these are potential, not practical, concerns and hopefully will remain so. So this blower performs well and meets my needs and expectations. If I ever needed a replacement battery it looks like I would have to buy a complete new blower. But given the relatively low price of this unit, and the prices of some new lithium batteries, maybe that’s not too unreasonable a prospect. Update: Somorei answered my email with a link to the battery on Amazon. The link shows the battery out of stock, but the email says it will be available in 30 days. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This 40V blower is the BEST! I reviewed many others but DEFINATELY the 40V , 5AH battery did my entire property on 1 charge. I didn’t even have to use the turbo function, as the trigger variable speed was sufficient. Don’t waste your time looking for any other brand…in addition, this blower is less than 5 lbs., and has the “ squeeze” tip to concentrate the volume with increased pressure. My friend has a 20v blower and this 4pv is what you need! Ease of assembly: Piece of cake…snaps together Battery life: Amazing life, did entire property on one charge. Very Fast re-charge Power: sufficient under most situations without using turbo Lightweight: less than 5 lbs.
