I used them on 4x4 posts lining my horses’ pasture. They look absolutely beautiful and I want them to last a long time. Pros: warm white, appropriate brightness level, they look gorgeous at night and they’re a really great add on to a fence line. Plus way cheaper than anything you’ll find at Lowe’s. Cons: In the daylight they don’t look nearly as nice. The color isn’t black/dark brown, they’re a milk chocolate brown. I’m going to end up having to paint them all very carefully to match eventually. They’re plastic, so you could spray paint them if you taped off the white part for the light. This is day one, I would like for them to last a long time. ... show more

I put these around the screen frame in the pool area. They add just the right touch of ambience. I think they provide just enough light to see where you are walking, if you are careful. Received and installed them. Pretty easy process. Out of the 16 lites received 3 didn't turn on. Might be a simple fix of changing the battery but I didn't have any batteries on hand. Thing is my lights are bolted down on my fence with the included hardware. Looks like I have to take down to access battery department. Now that's a bummer depending on how often batteries need to be changed. For the price point of the lites, and cost of batteries, coupled with your own time/labor it's almost better to just buy new lites. Bummer.... They are pretty though. ... show more

The size of the box was startlingly small for 16 pieces. I thought perhaps I miss ordered, or got the wrong size. Visually, they seem simple, not super high end material; mostly plastic. I chose brown to blend in with the cinder wall I was putting them on. I sticky backed 8 of them to the wall over lunch with the included double sided tape. They look alright. This evening after our got dark I stepped outside to see how well they did. It’s just the right amount of light. Enough to navigate safely, but muted enough not to glare or disturb the neighbors. Overall I would say good value for the price point. I will put up the rest tomorrow. Time will tell on the durability and longevity. ... show more
