These lights are not dim, they actually look nice and bright! The installation is super simple, I would be careful when pushing the spikes into the soil, make sure it is very soft, because the spikes are plastic and can break if you put too much pressure. These lights emit a cool white glow, but you can change to different colors which make it so much fun. We are very happy with these lights. We have had them less than a week so I cannot speak for longevity yet but quality of product, ease of installation, brightness (they stay on from Dusk until 6 am) and the clean minimal look are all amazing. These lights are easy to install and very bright! Very pleased. I am buying another set for the backyard. Haven’t had them out for long so can’t speak to how long the brightness will last or how they will hold up over time.

I started buying ground solar lights years ago via Amazon. I tried a few yrs ago to order new solar batteries to save lights and avoid waste.....was just waste of $. I only use lights during summer months and box up in off mode during winter...but they are never good a second yr next to new lights. That said...I last minute ordered small order of 8 lights to save $ over 16 order bc I only needed 8.... 3 of 8 right out of box do not work! O waited a full extra day of direct sunlight to test....and 3 if 8 do jot work!!! I am pissed at myself for not paying more money for more lights. ( but I know now are just seasonal lights so was avoiding extra cost) . I am super pissed I paid for 8 working lights and got 5! I had to leave outside to find did not work so cannot send back. Do not order from this seller!!!!! I have always before ordered 16 lights and all 16 worked for season. Having 5 of 8 work is robbery and fraud in packaging ( photos of unwrapping will be used in Amazon compaint) ( 1 bag had 2 lights, another 3, another 3...looked like returned packaging resent to me.) ... show more
