Tattoo machines work well and are as shown. The space for the handle toob was to small I had to stretch it a bit. The handles are good. The power supply is good, one plug took some force to get in. Clip cord is perfect. The peddal is a little tough to press down on. The ink is decent for the price. The teaching DVD is horrable! Watch a YouTube video instead! The image flash CD is amazing its 500pgs The ink cups, their holder, the gromets, rubber bands, ect are perfect. The stainless steel tips have no numbers so you won't know which ones they are unless you know your stuff. The desposable needles and tips are perfectly labeled and packaged. My biggest complaint is the practice skin. The ink where you don't tattoo does not come off. So you will struggle to see where you tattooed and they are not reusable. Overall it is great! I did a lot of research to find a good,cheap starter kit and this is it! ... show more

The kit is decent. I bought this with the intention of just getting familiar with the art of tattooing. The small ink bottles are a pain to get open. You cut the tip and usually get ink all over. The practice skin was cool to try but I won't be using it anymore...it seems unnatural the way the ink goes in. The DVD that comes with it is horrible quality (pixelated and skips a lot). I wish there were more variety in needle sizes not just RL and RS (maybe some magnum types would be nice). Only other problem I have with the kit is there are ZERO instructions. I wish they would have an assembly guide to show you how to put the machine together and what the components are in the kit. It's a good kit but be prepared to do your research on your own if you are not familiar with tattoo equipment. As far as quality it is good to start learning but like most things you get what you pay for. Good starter kit for sure in my limited knowledge opinion. ... show more

Machines need constant fiddling in order to run properly. I wouldn't use these on humans other than yourself, if you have enough ink that you just don't care anymore. Ended up buying different machines. The inks are okay...the blue/green colors don't pack or hold well. But it is a cheap start. Get your practice in and upgrade later. ... show more

This kit was purchased for my wife. It was purchased so that she could learn to tattoo. The video that was supplied is very old and the person in the video is not very pleasing at all. To be honest the video is annoying. The kit was good quality for the price and the ink was used on fake skin so I can't attest to the quality of ink on real skin. You will need to watch a youtube video or go to a website to learn how to set up the guns. I would highly recommend this kit for any beginner as it is very good quality material. Solid product with an easy assembly. Only thing I have to say negative about it is that there isn't a label or way to identify which machine is the shader vs the outliner. Also, as for recommendations of what power settings to use for each machine. However, if you know how to use the internet, or have friends who do tattoos, figuring that out isn't difficult. Other than that, it's an overall great product. It was a little heavier than I expected, but not something I couldn't get use to. (Accidentally posted this to a different purchase, oops.     • Open boxes carefully in case the ink broke open and test the power supply to br sure it works.
The kit is a good value, but we lost 5 ink bottles because they leaked all over inside the bag.
