If it doesn't work don't give up. I bought this for my daughter and it was not working for her and it took me a minute to figure out. The black screw with the knobs on each side that tightens where the needle goes into the tube. It was too tight. It just needed to be loosened a tad. It's the simplest thing that will make it not work. Which I would think is a good thing. So you don't hurt yourself if you are a beginner. ( which we both are ) so for the most part they are r right when they say the gun probably isn't assembled right if it isn't working. I'm sure there is the exception where it could be defective . Ordered this product for my daughter to start learning. It took me a minute to get it set up and working but a little looking around on youtube for some help and it was my lack of knowledge as to why it wasnt working. But once we figured it out and I tested it on the practice skins, it worked great. My daughter loves it. Product was better then i expected it to be for the price.
