The Ranger size Solo is ideal for small urban backyards. It doesn't take much wood as the larger versions and lites up in a minute and goes out in minutes too. We live in the Pacific NW and find it a nice way warm up while working outside during the colder months, and for evening family gatherings.

This is so simple to use, it doesn’t take up much space. I use it for a quick 30 minutes and it’s perfect. If I want it to go longer, I can, but lots of times. I just wanna be out for about 30 minutes in the evening.

It’s easy to light and burns hot with zero smoke. Only thing for me is my firewood is cut for my big fire pit so I need to cut wood from my stack to length as I need it. This is the middle size, which is perfect for me but if I only had one fire pit I’d get the largest one. Just ask Snoop Dogg!

We purchased this stove so that we could use it for Halloween night. We like sitting outside for the trick or treaters and the stove provided warmth and we also roasted marshmellows. We came back in that night and didn't smell the smoke from our usual fire pit. The whole family was impressed by the performance of the solo fire pit.
