My wife bought the mini fire pit for me for Christmas last year. I thought it would be worthless, but I was dead wrong! It was the best gift I ever had! Thank to my sweet lady for this wonderful gift. I lives in the city where there is no fireplace allowed and a big heavy fine. So, this is perfect. It's sat on my picnic table, easy fired it up, and watch the flame soar high and dance away in the air. Wow! No smoke at all! And I even can feel the warmth came from it. Beautiful! We had a Fourth of July back yard party and my oldest son know I have one so he grabbed it and set it up. My whole family love it, they keep added more woods to it and still enjoyed it for hours! I never thought my whole family hooked to the mini fire pit that quick! Two months ago, I bought Mesa XL so I can give my first mesa to my grandson for his apartment with smallest back yard. He and his girlfriend loved it! She said it was the best fire pit she ever enjoyed it every time my grandson lit it up. He said it fit perfectly in his back yard and always bring it in once it was completely cooled. They don't want any of his next door neighbors take it and use it. Even their landlord loved it too! They are very protective about their mini fire pit. I thought it was odd but hey! We all love Mesa and Mesa XL! One time last spring, I took it with me to my brother country home and set it up on the low end table. Once I got it going, my brother freaked out! He said it like a blow torch in there. I bought this on a whim for my small patio, and figured I’d probably end up regretting the price tag. Unfortunately for me it’s a keeper. It burns hot, which means fast - but that’s kind of perfect with heat a few sticks and twenty minutes or so.

Great little intimate tabletop fire pit. Super on a little table on my deck. No heat whatsoever goes down to the tabletop, and it comes with a stand. The stand doesn’t even get hot. Great flame, easy to use, nice heat. A little wood-hungry, but you just need (a lot of) small blocks and a firestarter. Super purchase. ... show more

The unit smoked a little more than I thought it would, but that could be user error. If you wanted to move this around it's incredibly portable. I leave it in one place. The bill is very simple, I did however think it would be a little bit more sturdy.

As advertised. Well made. Fill the XL with hardwood chunks and then take back out all. Place aside (to refill it with). Place a fire starter of your choosing and then put a single layer of hardwood back in on top of the fire starter. Light your starter. With periodic refilling the fire lasts for a bit over an hour. Double the wood on hand and double the time etc. We used it for ambiance and toasting chocolate filled marshmallow also available on Amazon. Brother in law’s first use of his (our gift to him) was toasting hot dogs over hardwood chunks that he said were delicious. ... show more

Couldn't decide so bought both. COOZOOM wins for size but I plan to use it on the floor not a table top. The build quality is better on the Solo but only slightly, doesn't really warrant double the cost. The pull down legs on the COOZOOM are a bit flimsy. Not sure they will hold up over time but you don't really need them. Nylon carry bags are same same. I'm keeping the COOZOOM. If Solo ever decides to come out with one this size I will definitely consider purchasing .... maybe a Mesa XXL. ... show more
