I cannot say enough good things about this product. I wish there was a way to give it more than 5 stars to fully emphasize how much I love it. I work on a horse farm and have a few horses of my own. My nails have also been incredibly thin and easy to end of break. Because of this I have always had uneven and short nails as they were constantly breaking no matter what I did. I tried the semi-cured stickers and press-on's but those never seemed to last. They would work for a week or so before they started lifting and fell off. This stuff lasts me over 3 weeks and it finally redo the nails, not because the builder get is falling off but because I have to fill in the regrowth at my nail beds! I will say the "soak off" feature is not quick and fool proof. I have read a lot of advice pages and watched a lot of videos before trying this. I file off as much of the builder gel until I think I am pretty close to my natural nail. Then I soak it for a while, generally 10+ minutes. It does not completely scrap right off after that and if I am not careful it will pull up some of my nail if I try to force it to scrape off. One of the best things you can do is watch lots of videos on technique of the application. I found lots of videos that explained how to get the proper shape/apex and smooth finish rather than the wavy finish you get if it is not laid smooth. The first time or two was a learning curve for sure. I had to remind myself that I am not "on the clock" it does not cure until you use the UV light so if it needs adjusted before that, do it! It is extremely easy to use and finishes very nicely once you get the hand of it! First I buff my nails and use nail polish remover or isopropyl alcohol to dehydrate the nails. Then I used the base coat and cure it. Then add a "slip" layer of the builder gel. DO NOT CURE. before curing that, add a bead of builder gel, starting at the cuticle and pulling it out in a semi circle towards the end of your nail. I hold my nail upside down to allow it to level. If you need it to move one way or the other, just hold you nail one way or the other and let gravity do the work! After that I cure it for 60-90 seconds. I read that one way to reduce lifting of the builder gel is to file at an angle under the builder gel to file the natural nail. I do that and then if i need to I use nail polish remover to get any dust off the stickiness of the builder gel. I also read somewhere that it can be recommended to use the same brand gel color as the brand if the base coat, builder gel, and top coat. I ordered a pack of a few different beetles gel polish colors and apply one of those next. I cure it. Then I apply top gel and cure that. I have been learning a lot and by no means am I a professional but I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles to get some of the techniques which really helped! The polish looks sturdy and shiny, I generally apply a color but the clear is also perfect for adding strength and shine to your nails!

I am new to using gel polish and it is a lot easier than I anticipated! Beetles foundation (base) coat really grips the Beetles color gel polish to my already powder dipped nails. I have thin nails so I use clear NailBoo powder dip (1 coat) over my natural nails to strengthen them. Beetles gel polish is easy to use, holds up very well, and has so many colors to choose from. I ordered the Blooming gel polish to try and create designs as I see on YT. The products go on smoothly, the colors pop, the blooming gel works great! After drying them under my LED light the nails are super shiny (with Glossy Top Coat). I did some test nails and the matte top coat looked like it was going to be shiny when I applied it, but after 90 seconds in the LED lamp it came out totally matte. The matte gel polish top coat does not smell good, at all, but it is Very Cool how it turns out. I’ve added some pictures (please don’t judge this was my first attempt at creating patterns) below for you to see the product in use. Texture is smooth, colors are bright and vibrant and so far the product is t getting clumpy. I did watch a tutorial that said to wipe your brush after coating your nail (if you dipped them first) and that seems to help with keeping the product clean.

This is the BEST stuff I’ve ever worked with as an amateur, and someone trying to save money on nails! I used to spend $50-60 on basic (1 color) acrylic nails every 2-3 weeks. I’ve spent under $70 on the base & top coat and two colors since July. I already had a lamp. If you want to invest in a nail drill (for shaping), there’s some really good cordless ones for $10. Otherwise, a nail file is enough. Also, invest in a good little acrylic brush. I bought a tiny lip brush which also works well. The value for the money is there! I don’t have to use a lot of the product to get the results in the photo. So these bottles are going to last well into 5-6 months. Less is more! There are some great How To videos on YouTube. It takes practice to do it on one pass and no extra filing. Again, I started in July about every 2-3 weeks refilling. Once you understand how the gel moves and self-levels on your nail, you’re good to go! Start with gently filing the nail. I do 1 nail at a time all the way through the process because the gel self-levels. Once you file, add the Base coat > lamp 1 min > Builder Gel color > lamp 1 min > Top coat > lamp 1 min. At this point if you messed up or don’t like the shape, file away and then go back through the process. Super easy!

Color: 3-PEEL-OFF Base Coat and Top Coat
This does work for being more gentle on your nails instead of regular and soaking or filing off. Putting the peel off base coat allows for a gentle peel with your fingernail or a tool without damaging your nail bed. It does not last as long as the other and will start to peel your manicure off more quickly, like in 2 weeks or then on. The top coat works just as always. It's safer I think for your nail beds if you are concerned of damage, but it won't last as long as you may want.
