This helmet seems to do the trick - its a good price and it fits. USE the side chart. I was right at the top of the Large and I thought about getting XL. I figured a lose helmet would be annoying. This thing is a bit tight - I was on the top of the L, and I am right there - i feel like if I needed a haircut it wouldn't fit. Good for what I need - I am going to use it wake boarding so generally not on for very long. If I were using it kayaking I would have to get a larger size. ... show more

My head measures 21.75 inches and the size chart says that would be a Medium. When I got the Medium helmet, it was too tight. So I ordered a Large instead and hope it will fit.

Good helmet but the neck strap is difficult to snap. It needs a bigger snap buckel. I just returned from a 7 day white water trip through the Deso Gray Canyons in Utah.
