I purchased this Solar Powered Light after a lot of reading and comparing and found that it was easy to install and worked flawlessly for years. When properly placed it will soak up sunlight energy all day and automatically turn on the BRIGHT light all night. Works well even on partial sunny days and light clouds. After 3 years it suddenly stopped working! When I contacted the manufacturer to find out what I should try to get it working again THEY SENT ME A FULL REPLACEMENT! I set up the light in the morning and made sure the switch was in the ON position. It was a sunny day and with the solar panel angled toward the south. It came on automatically when it got dark outside and stayed on all night! Really bright! Turned off automatically when the sun started coming up. I've bought several solar lights in the past and they were unimpressive. I have 4 of these around my house over a month now and saved $100+ a month on the electric bill. The first week after I got this light, it worked on and off, and not all night, but then again, it was overcast and rainy for a week. After several days of sunlight, it seems to work like advertised. It comes on at dusk and turns off at dawn. I got the light for my flag. It lights up the flag at night brightly. It’s real easy to install, a couple of screws for the mounting brackets and a wing nut screw for the angle of the light and solar panel. I’m afraid that the batteries will not store enough power to light my flag all night even with one cloudy day. Maybe I’ll see if I can replace these batteries with some higher quality batteries for this solar panel. ... show more
