I purchased this Solar Powered Light after a lot of reading and comparing and found that it was easy to install and worked flawlessly for years. When properly placed it will soak up sunlight energy all day and automatically turn on the BRIGHT light all night. Works well even on partial sunny days and light clouds. After 3 years it suddenly stopped working! When I contacted the manufacturer to find out what I should try to get it working again THEY SENT ME A FULL REPLACEMENT! I am a Mechanical Engineer and I must say this product has been Lean Engineered, that means the designers really did an outstanding job creating a Good product for a great price. Pros: The LED and Solar Arrays are good quality. Led's produce a light brighter than expected. Nice clean package, that looks good when mounted. Best of all, $30 for a really decent product that performs better than expected. Cons: The ABS plastic construction, is a less desirable, cheaper material that degrades faster than some more expensive injection molded plastics, especially in direct sunlight, but it will do the job for many years to come. The 10 ft cable is hard wired in, No Connector, which makes hiding the cable, or routing the cable through a hole, for a cleaner installation, difficult. The On/Off switch is on back of the Solar Panel, which would typically be mounted up high or on the roof, this makes turning the unit on and off difficult. Conclusion: Despite the Cons, this product is still a great value and I would definitely recommend it. For those shoppers that are more demanding I would suggest looking at a higher cost option. Very good light. Using it to illuminate a flag all night and it lasts. Quite bright. Easy installation. Be careful driving screws not to overnighten as all mounting holes are plastic that's not too thick.

Lights are good out of the box but found that they use lower quality 18650 batteries and they tend to not perform well in the cold winter months up north. I upgraded the batteries to Molicel p28a batteries and now it performs amazing and lasts all night long even under freezing temperatures (if it gets enough sun to charge of course). ... show more

We purchased this solar light back on March 24, 2023 for use on our home in Arizona. It arrived just as we were leaving for Michigan for the summer months, so we did not get it installed. Upon return to Arizona in early November, 2023, we attempted to charge and install this outdoor solar light. My husband tried charging it for 3 days out in in the sun, but the light would not come on. He tested it and could tell it was charging okay; he also tested the switch and could tell it was working okay. Sadly, the light just didn't work. Even though it was brand new when we tried using it, because we were past the return window, we are now eating the cost of this light. Very frustrating. ... show more
