I loved this fan so much I bought 2 more. And then ive had issues with tue fan ever since. Day one it turned right on started to work immediately. I I stalled the panels on the shed roof and it worked that first day then the second day the box was not lit up. I thought perhaps the battery died and I needed to move the panels. I messed with this thing for 2 hours in the middle of the day in the heat and got really frustrated gave up and decided I would take it down next morning and return it. Well the next morning I could see the box had lights lit up and low and behold it indeed did turn on. It ran all day although the battery never got above 33% charge it didnt go down either it stayed at 33% all day. I left it on since I left little early and needed the fan to keep working till at least 8pm. It was still running when I got back so I was happy. I stopped the fan thinking if it was not running the battery could charge more the next morning when the sun came up and it was not gonna be as hot the next morning. Once again the box had no power not lit up. Once again I climb up on the roof and move tue panels again and messed with it almost 1 hour it didnt not turn on and the battery box never lit up. So for 2 days it didnt work once again I climb back up start to take the panels down to return the system when I hear the beeb and the box lit up. So I leave the system and it ran all day. We'll that was 2 days ago and im completed fed up with trying to get this thing to turn on, I have no more patience. Since I bought 2 more im gonna try them out and see if its just something with this unit. I want to love this and I did love it that first day but I absolutely have to have something that will actually work. I only need it to run the hottest parts of the day, im considering trying to wire a fan directly to a large panel but that is intimidating, which is why i was so excited about this unit. However I cant keep messing with it every day. So I really hope the other 2 I got will work and its just this one. So im taking this one down tomorrow and update review IF the other fans actually work! Otherwise this will stay at a 1star.

I was super impressed with the fan ease of installation etc… but for the past three days the thermostat/controller shut off itself - the battery is fully charged and has been getting sun constantly I’ve checked the wires and connections no visible problem - I’ve only had it set up for 4-5 days but I didn’t know I would have to check it daily to be sure it’s on

Great solar fan. Works very well, has strong air flow, and stays on a long time. The only problem is that it completely shuts down over night and has to be manually turned back on after the battery recharges. It would be better if the fan came back on once recharged.

I am so angry with this misleading company. I bought three of these. Paid to have them installed in horse sheds. They work great, decent wind, not strong, but pleasant. However, Once they run their cycle they shut off. They will not restart when recharged, regardless of temperature. If you want them to run again, you have to turn them on. They are not automatic. Eco mode is meaningless marketing talk. I paid a handyman to install them with panels on the roofs. I have wasted well over 1000 on this project. Here is explanation from the company: Dear Customer, Thank you for your message. To clarify: once the battery is fully depleted and the fan shuts down, manual restart is required after sufficient charge is restored. The fan will not restart automatically. Regarding your three units: since one controller can manage multiple fans within a 33ft radius, if all three controllers are installed within 33ft of each other, we recommend designating one as the master to control all three fans. Please refer to the attached diagram for master setup instructions. Best regards, ecoCalm Team .

I bought this to use for my balcony during the day because it faces west and gets extremely hot in the pm. There were a few different ones I could chose from, but this one with its 18” fan and dual panels double sided solar panels work best for my application. I was shocked at how much air this fan puts out. It’s ridiculously powerful even comparing to a plug-in fan. Huge battery pack that allows for this fan to operate well into the evening. I don’t need this at night, instead only during the afternoon when the sun hits the hardest and this fits the bill and perfectly matches my application. I can use this the entire afternoon and still have 75% battery into the evening. I’m so in love with this fan that I would be in the hot sun just to feel its powerful airflow. lol. All in all this is a quality fan at a reasonable price.
