While they aren't as bright as a real light would be, they do the trick- the lamp looks powered through the window treatments, and the entry looks like someone left the light on. Works great outside my chicken coop. I’m impressed by how bright it is and how long it stays lit! I would say that the cord is a bit heavy for the lights so if it dangles at all it pulls on the lights…. But no biggie. I just used a zip tie to keep the cord from hanging!
