Easy to install and works as expected! My camera is installed at the height that I need ladders to access. Charging the cam every a few weeks has been my routine. With this solar panel, I can leave it as-is so it is always charged. This will definitely make the process much easier. The installation is very straightforward, the provided cable is long enough but in my setup, I just leave it next to the cam as this is a spot having a lot of sunshine during the day.

So far, so good with these. If you want your battery powered cameras to actually sense and record important stuff, then those settings will use up battery life quickly. To avoid constantly climbing ladder to recharge the cameras every week, I always set them on medium or low sensitivity with a short duration recording time. After setting up these solar chargers I changed the settings to higher sensitivity and longer recording time, thus enabling the cameras to really do what we intended them to do. While the cords are REALLY long and I had to zip-tie the extra into a neat little coil, I guess it's better to be too long than too short. My only complaint is the swivel system for angling the solar panel is kind of janky in that after you find the right position and begin to tighten it in place, the tightening process tends to twist the panel out of position. Depending on how these perform and last, I may do a follow-up review.

These are perfect for our cameras. We got tired of having to pull the cameras down to charge them all the time. I swear our cameras were dead more than they were working. Now they can always stay charged! They're also super easy to set up.
