Mine lasted 6 months in Sunny Southern California. I got the longer one. They were fine in the fall and winter but I think the direct light and heat of the summer were just too much for them. After awhile they wouldn’t hold a steady light and only blinked which I was not a fan of. I’m not sure if mine were defective or not- but, I’m moving soon to the beach and will be repurchasing them for the new backyard. They are very beautiful warm and magical and I’m hoping they will last longer in cooler temperatures, Still my favorite lights despite me having to repurchase them. ... show more

Does not hold up. breaks easily even under the carport. The burlap added zero support to the two wires that are inside that are very tiny and fragile. as you can see in my photos, I try to repair it three times. on the fourth time, I thought I had it and that’s when it just snapped near where I repaired it with thermal shrink wrap! . I was hoping by ordering another one (since I had a matching one in my screened in room that’s holding up very well.) I just thought this one was defective when I decided to purchase another just it. . I hope it holds up. I really think it’s very pretty. ... show more
