This is a review of the two pack OKPRO S-150XLM Compact Solar Lights. The manufacturer has packed two units for the purchase. Unlike other solar light units, the solar panel is completely sealed to the unit. These units contain a 2400mah lithium- ion battery that is charged by the build-in solar panel. However, due to the size of the battery, the length of time and the amount of light output are limited. There is a dusk to dawn sensor and will turn on only when it’s fairly dark. The motion sensor has a high range and when tilted and the unit is mounted 15 feet high, motion can be detected 50 feet away turning the unit on. There are three modes available, (1) on detection of motion 100% brightness for 30 seconds, (2) light on constantly at 10% brightness and on motion detection 100% brightness, and (3) light constantly on dusk to dawn. In my testing, modes 2 and 3 are limited in use as the battery is only 2400mah and will not last the full night. However, on mode 1 with motion detection, the unit lasted the entire night. I mounted the unit on the edge of an awning using stainless steel 2 ½ inch 10 by 32mm bolts, washers for spacing and nuts. Overall I recommend the unit but need to take into account its limitations on light output and timing due to the size of the battery in the unit. ... show more

These are great, I live in the foothills and lighting can be tricky when have a bit of acreage. These are great. We put them up on the corner of the house to light up the trash cans. We needed a motion light and I didn't want to muck with a bunch of electrical. We have issues with bears and wanted a light that might help scare them off and come on when we go out there. These lights are perfect and we got it up just in time, we had a power outage and it was nice to have a light that worked when we took the dogs out at midnight. The lights are bright, photosensitive, and motion activated. You also get a remote for each one (not sure that was needed, just a couple would probably work for our needs). Installing was easy, although making sure we had the light pointing where we wanted and that the solar panel would get light was a bit tricky, so we had to put the base at a bit of an angle. The great thing is they work any where and living in the foothills where it is very dark at night these are super helpful. I like that they only go on when you need them. I plan to put them down by the horses as well as by the driveway so people can see getting to their car at night. Overall these are great and I will probably order more. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a review of OKPRO Solar Security Lights, in a 2 Pack. The Part Number ‎ is S-150XLM. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0CX4J1SYR. At 5 1/3” X 10”, the lights are not large for street lights, but they are very bright and would do well in yards or over a small driveway. Since there are two lamps, they could cover twice the area of one unit. With 150 LEDs, emitting 20000 lumens, and a cool white color temperature of 7000K, This is a bright light. The light meter app on my phone got a respectable reading of 12956 LUX. In order to charge the 2400mAh battery, the assembly must be mounted in direct sunlight. Before fastening it out of reach, press the red button one time. That will allow the remote control to operate the lighting modes: ON Light is 100% bright, with no motion detection. Mode 1 Light is off. When motion is detected, light goes to 100% and stays bright for about 20 seconds after motion ceases. Mode 2 Light is set to 10% brightness and goes fully bright with movement. Mode 3 NO MOTION DETECTION. Light stays on at 30% brightness. The PIR (passive infrared) was so sensitive, I could not sneak up on it to change lighting modes. The lamps can remain in place all year. They have an IP66 waterproof rating. The manufacturer has a 2 year warranty. The selling price may seem a little high, but this is a high quality and bright 2 pack. ... show more

Good quality solar lights I installed them on the outside of my shop where I can now see to turn off my air compressor in the dark without having to carry a flashlight. I have them set to get brighter when they detect you approaching which allows them to dimly shine all night until they are needed. I have tried a few of these and have hit or miss luck but these are pretty bright, and the remote is nice. There are a a few modes to choose from and they all work well. The only issue I have had is that the plastic that covers the on/off switch and remote receiver just fell off of one. I might be able to glue it back on but it's needed. Odd thing is, I had not even mounted them yet when it fell off, which is good as I might not have noticed if I had mounted it up high, then it fell off. All in all, a nice light, bright for a solar light. A good value. ... show more

….not quite enough for the job that I had originally intended them for. Which was to be added to a tall pole and be used as a street lamp at the end of our driveway. They are great though for lower hanging lighting needs. And the motion detection works very well. This is my first time ordering solar lights and I can understand all of the hype now. These are great! I put them out in the sun for the day and they charge, just like that! I got these to replace my front and back porch lights. The difference in light quality is crazy. Unlike the ones I replaced, the motion sensors are very accurate. Before mounting them outside, I had one hanging in the laundry room and that was also very helpful! I will definitely be ordering more solar lights moving forward.
