The media could not be loaded. See pictures for my setup. It has 5 different planters with 3 strawberry plants in each. The 15 tees and emitters were a perfect match. The picture of the roll of tubing is the amount left over after setup completed. I ran the pump on the factory supplied charge for 20 minutes with no issue. All the emitters appear have equal output. The water flow at the end of the cycle also matched the starting flow. The first bucket that I found was only 2.5 to 3 gallons. The bucket is about 12 inches tall and the 20 minute run dropped the water level in the bucket about 1 inch. So it should be able to supply the system for well over a week. This system uses 3 mm plumbing and all my other drip systems use the 1/4 inch tubing. The programming is VERY simple. The durations are 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes and intervales supports a fairly wide range listed in the product descriptions. I did mount the pump/controller fairly low and the water flow started almost immediately with on/off switch was pressed. I also routed the water to the emitters so the first emitter from the pump was the highest and then the rest were "down hill" from the first one. The 3 mm tubing was very easy to install using the tees and emitters. The barbs on the pump seemed to be slightly larger and were more of a challenge. I didn't have any unexpected leaks. I did not use the anti-siphon valve and when the pump cut off, all the emitter's flow stopped, even the lowest one. The controller was easy to mount with a couple of zip ties through the mounting holes on the controller. I did not checkout the "low water supply" or other alarms. I don't have great hearing, but the slight hum of the pump was not very noticeable at all.

This solar automatic watering system is ideal for me as I do not have more than one access to a faucet or a fixed power supply. It is powered by a solar panel, and comes with simple instructions. It takes the water needed from a container without the need for a tap. I can set up a drip system that will draw the water from the container I set up. There is an alarm to let me know when the water level is low in the container. All the pipes, and joints are included. This would be ideal for apartment dwellers, on a balcony where one does not have access to a watering hose. I really like the solar idea. I worry when I have to plug into an electric power plug. Solar is a very good thing to have for a garden. I feel very confident that by reading the instructions that come with this set up, I will have no problem getting my solar watering system set up when I am ready. All the parts are included and the quality seems to be very good. I already have a location in my garden where I will be using this.

The system works so far. The Directions are so hard to follow. Mine was missing pieces so now I have to order an extension kit just to get the parts that were missing.

I have two trouble spots for my flowers that I will use this on. The deck and a bed that is out at the edge of the yard and isolated from all my other beds. So far, I hand water both spots. This will save me time and energy at either spot. The package includes the drip nozzles, which have to be above the plants, a long length of the flexible tubing which can be cut to whatever length is needed between pots, the water sensors for the water bucket, a controller that allows almost an infinite timing menu, and the solar panel. It’s still cold here. I don’t have any outside plants that need watering, yet. I’ll get it set up as soon as possible.

This set has everything you need for an easy care balcony garden except the 5 gal bucket as a water reservoir. My daughter has a southern facing balcony and watering her extensive container garden in summer has been a time-consuming challenge. This solar-charged drip irrigation system is the answer to that challenge. It’s been a deal-changer for her! Everything included in this system except the water reservoir bucket, and easily installed to drip irrigation water every pot. The controller with the many preset watering schedules allows perfecting the watering pattern for the types of plants you’re growing, and best of all, the sun powers it all!

I could go on and on about how much I love this solar powered irrigation system. I ended up buying two more for a few more raised beds- absolutely ideal for regulating water levels in my garden. Instead of repeating all details here, I recommend you read LEH's review titled 'Perfect for my setup.' They covered everything and their experience mirrors my own (I have not tested the low water alarm yet either). Setup was very easy, programming is equally simple, and the price is extremely fair for the peace of mind. Highly, highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. I got this sprinkler controller to help me keep my seedlings watered in my hobby greenhouse. Other solar sprinkler controllers have the control panel as part of the solar panel, but that isn't what I wanted. I wanted a separate controller so that I could mount the solar panel outside the greenhouse but have the controller inside the greenhouse. I set this up to pump out of a 5-gallon bucket. The controller has a built-in water-level sensor and has a buzzer built-in and a flashing light if the water level gets low. I didn't test the alarm. The controller has options to water every 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours. For 12 or 24 hour frequencies, you can water for 5, 15, or 20 minutes. For 48 or 72 hour frequencies, you can water for 10, 15, or 30 minutes.
