I'm not a rates-something-5-stars person. Heck, I prefer not to review anything at all because I've been burned by reviewing things that don't deserve a good review, and I've been burned by things that don't deserve a bad review. Needless to say, I tried hard to find a fault with with this product and worst I can say is that it doesn't have more control over time of day and frequency of watering, but I feel like they're not advertising anything other than what you get here, so I won't complain. I fully expected the warning beeps (for low water level and kinked hoses) to be annoying, and although I can hear them from inside the nearest room in my house, they're not so annoying/frequent to illicit complaints from the neighbors (and I live in an HOA, so you know I got some Basic folks near me). I got this because I needed something that would water my plants while I was on a trip for a week, and I came home to blooming tomato plants and fresh jalapenos. I'm going to keep this system in palace for the foreseeable future, and hopefully expand it as my garden grows. ... show more

This device worked perfectly for my raised garden bed while we were out of town. The only recommendation I can suggest is to monitor the watering settings if you have multiple plants to water. Try to determine if the water is equally distributed to all of your plants. Perform a trial and error test first before leaving it on automatic. ... show more

I have had this for two months now and the plastic stick broke. Not sure how that happened. The device still works. It’s just hard to place it where the sun shines or angle it. Old review: I received the product promptly and I damaged. It was simple to setup. I’ve had it for three weeks now, and my plants are healthier than ever now that they get watered regularly. You can set it up to be watered every 12hrs or 24hrs. Also an option for the watering duration-5, 10, or 15 minutes. It came with plenty of tubing and everything fits as expected. I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars because while it does its job, the amount of water each plant gets is highly inconsistent. We've had to move plants around as some were being flooded while others were getting a trickle.

I got this for my garden to make watering easier, and I’m glad I did. It’s very easy to set up, with the instructions being very helpful. Since it’s solar powered I don’t have to worry about checking it as much, and it definitely gets the job done. The hose is very durable, and the perfect length to reach all my plants.
