This device is a miracle machine! We recently moved to Arkansas. Our pen of Rams (sheep), were forced to live deep in the woods, in a ravine, far away from the house, in coyote/bobcat infested woods. This was literally as good of odds as one of the Mission Impossible films. They should’ve been doomed. But, I had zero options at the time. Planting this device next to their pen worked phenomenally! It flashes like a cop car light, all night long! It actually hurts your eyes to catch a blast of it. While we stayed in the woods, Coyotes would howl all night. I only had to venture out there with a light on one particularly bad night, simply because of my own worries. Needless to say, not one of my animals lost their bacon under the watch of this device! I owe this little devil a ton of money that’s tied up in the value of our animals. It saved the day, figuratively. It only runs at night. Anyway. I’d recommend this product highly! The alternating lights and the 360deg beacon seemed to do just the trick! This thing seems a little expensive, but it’s got a lot of value IMO.

I'm giving this 5 stats because we've used it for a few months now and we've had no issues with predators around our chickens. My only problem was the solar battery holding a charge...it started going deaf at about the 4 month mark. I could charge it, and it worked again, but would occasionally stop. It's on full light. The seller was GREAT about replacing under the warranty, so now I have a replacement. Seems to work well, so I'm glad to have a consistently working light again! Not thrilled to have a product issue, but the merchant customer service was so good, it was hardly a bother in the end.

Cought this in our chicken house after installing. So if you have a owl eating your chickens this light is not for you. I will be returning it sence it dose not work. It might work for others, just not for me.

Saved our goats! I bought two of these for our herd of 100 grazing goats in early 2020 after we lost 3 goats to a mountain lion in early 2020, and 3 to coyotes in 2019 after having no losses for the previous 5 years. Predator populations are increasing steeply in CA, and they are less afraid of people than they used to be! I'm buying two more to replace the other, poorly made lights I tried as these seem to be the magic solution. We use them at all of our sites. The goats like to sleep near them and the predators stay away - no losses with them in place, even when we returned to the same places we lost animals in the past! Thank you Mopet Marketplace!!

Like the concept but it unfortunately does not work for bears. Bought this for a bear and the bear came back and killed some of my chickens. The light was actually shining directly on the bear but it had no impact.

We were having problems with something killing our ducks. Decided to try this and so far no problems at all. Super easy to put on fence post. Works very well from sundown to sunup (it is summer now). We have not seen signs of any critters coming around at all. Even raccoons that used to come in the late evening to eat some of the duck food seem to be scared to come around at all. We never see them and that is before the light even comes on. Seems to have scared all the other critters from coming around at all. Love this thing so far and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Working well! If you’re looking to mount a Fox Light use Four inch in diameter Charlotte pipe (plumbing department- cuts easily to height needed). Spray painted the post to blend in and cut it to coyote height. The Fox Light just drops in as if it’s custom made. The Charlotte pipe solution was genius! Charge your light with the USB adapter from your Kindle - it fits ! I am giving it four stars because I had to come up with the pipe install solution. Frankly, some one else should have done this for the manufacturer. Hanging this on a fence or mounting it on a tree doesn’t work on open acreage! All they had to say is create a mounting post with 4 inch wide plastic pipe available at plumbing supply stores!

My predator issues are sporadic, and it’s very hard to prove a negative. I have had no predator problems at all since this went up. I plan to get a second one to provide protection to another area. Since setting this up, I’ve never had to touch it and it is still working perfectly and just as bright as ever.
