We installed them on a tall black ranch fence at either side of the gate entrance and we love how they illuminate the area around them without casting any unwanted up light. These get about 10 hours of direct sunlight and they last about 8 hours at night. They are super adorable but the material feels a little "cheap" and thin. Be careful when mounting them to the wall. The metal where the holes are to install the screws is very thin. If you drive to screws in too far, you will end up bending the metal and it may cause the light to sit askew. The quality is good, the extended wire for the solar collector is nice. It’s not as bright as I’d like on the low setting. Honestly I haven’t tried the high setting because I was more concerned for battery life. I selected and ordered black and I received aged bronze. The box even says black but it’s not black it’s aged bronze. Unfortunately I’ve had the same trouble with other types of products to come from China sellers are listing them and selling them is black and when you get them they’re not black they’re actually aged bronze. I’m not sure if this is somebody pulling a fast one in China or if they just don’t know the difference between black and aged bronze. It’s a bummer because I’m pleasantly Surprised with the quality and appearance of this product. I like it so much I think I’m gonna keep it but paint everything black before I install it. Just be cautious if you don’t want to paint it or do extra work don’t order this thinking it’s black because it’s going to be aged bronze. ... show more
