It took me about 2 hours to set up this system on my front porch. SO MUCH EASIER than nearly any system I've used so far. The pump seems to be working great and is watering 7 pots and had enough power to reach a hanging basket. All I have to do is fill the water tank. No worrying about a leaking hose or watering when I'm gone. Highly recommend

This is the third one of these solar plant watering gizmos. The other two are still working fine. I have them watering several planters on our deck. Really nice when we go out of town. I use a 5 gallon bucket with a cover for the water supply...one for each solar pump. Lasts about 2 or 3 days. They do have a water level sensor that works well so the pump does not run dry. The one thing I wish these had would be a soil moisture sensor so they only would run if needed. Hint, hint Mr manufacturer!

The media could not be loaded. This solar irrigation system is a lifesaver! Whoever came up with an automatic plant waterer is a genius! Not only was it easy to put together, but it's doing my job for me! Granted, I do need to keep my eyes on the water pail, but it gives me peace of mind to know that I don't have to water my vegetables everyday. There are 6 timer modes available, depending how often your plant needs to be watered. I also like that on cloudy days, the solar panel has a built-in battery which provides power. I did change the solar panel /controller to be higher than the water pail so as to avoid a siphoning phenomenon leading to over watering.

I was excited to have a solar drip irrigation system for my outdoor potted plants. This worked great for about 2 months. Now it doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried moving the solar panel to a sunnier spot, checking the hoses, etc. it just won’t turn on at all anymore. I’m so disappointed.

This is a fantastic product. We have many 5 gallon buckets of tomatoes and other vegetables and such and this has helped them grow big and happy. We dont have any access to water in our back yard as we live in a row home. We placed a 55 gallon rain barrel in our back yard and ran the hoses from it to this irrigation system. It does a fantastic job. With one exception. I do wish the description would warn you. It will siphon if your water source is anywhere near taller than your plants. Our yard is slightly slopped and at first it would drip water to our plants all night! None of the research we did told us how to remedy this with this exact set up. We ended up fixing our siphoning by adding a T fitting with an aquarium air check valve at the outlet of the pump that lets air in but not water out. We highly recommend this product with that in mind.

I purchased this product for my strawberry plants when I was going out of town for a couple weeks. Works very well and plants are happy! The water reservoir I use is a 30 gallon gray trash can with a lid. It lasts for about a week then has to be filled. Very happy with the purchase and reliability.

I love this solar waterer! Thus is amazing for my apartment life. I can keep it out side my door and it get the perfect amount if water and sun light. It came with everything i needed and some extras to add more then the 2 plants I have now. It was super easy to set up(with the helpful and easy instructions) it only took a couple minutes. It looked like a lot of stuff that came with it but it was not as bad as i thought it was going to be and it doesn't take up a lot of the plant space so you can still see the beauty of the plants.
