Hubby didn't realize he was getting the travel size when he ordered this, BUT it was actually beneficial because I was able to use it enough times to realize I LOVE this shampoo and conditioner enough to spend more on the bigger sizes! My hair feels SO smooth, has the prettiest shine and feels SO healthy after I use it! Not to mention, #62 is our favorite Sol de Janiero scent they have! I now have cycled through three normal sized body lotions, bum bum scrubs, sprays, tons of travel sized sprays, lotions, scrubs and oils and am definitely working on getting the rest of the products they offer in this scent! My normal sized shampoo and conditioner will be here tomorrow (my birthday - YAY!!) as well as my cologne roller ball. My son is getting me the normal sized eau de toilette spray, and the lip balm and hair oil are next on my list! This brand is pricier than "bath and body works" but smells so much better, lasts longer and is well worth the cost! It is one thing I can get for myself that makes me feel more feminine as a "boy mom who lost herself along the way" because I tend to get things that appease everyone in my family; hobby items that are fun for me but benefit everyone else. This is something just for me and I LOVE IT!!!!!

Okay, I knew this stuff smelled good, but I wasn’t sure how well it would work on hair. Decided to give it a go anyway. I was BLOWN AWAY! Not only does it leave my hair silky and smooth, but it is the ONLY thing (in a very very long line cog products) that can make my 7yo daughters hair manageable. She has the type of hair that tangles if you look at it wrong. But I use this shampoo/conditioner mix and the milky leave in conditioner from the same line and the brush GLIDES through her hair. For DAYS! Will never use anything else on her hair.

Every so often you find a product that is above the rest. I found this brand a few years ago when I got a sample of the hand cream called (bum-bum) I loved the smell and the way it made my skin feel. I was looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to help my hair (I'm approaching 60) my hair is long but it was thinning and becoming lifeless. I bought this product about 2 months ago thinking I like the hand cream so why not give it a try. It smells wonderful, and the product is reach creamy and hydrating. It is a bit more expensive then what I was using but worth every penny, plus you don't need as much for a full lather (for the shampoo) and to feel the conditioner soak into your hair. My hair is fuller, softer and feels wonderful. I don't think I could ever go back. I will say I need to get the travel size for when I go away because other shampoos and conditioners just won't cut it any more.

I’m pretty picky about my shampoo and conditioner, and these nearly ticked every box for me. My hair type: fine, straight hair, prone to getting oily on the scalp with dried ends. Try to only wash my hair about every 3 days. Oiliness/greasiness: didn’t leave my hair feeling oily or with a greasy feel. Using a little dry shampoo between my washes worked just fine with these products. Scent: the absolute best of any shampoo/conditioner I’ve ever used, I could smell my hair all day! Feel: The only downside of this product, it did leave my hair more frizzy than normal, I use a leave in conditioner on the ends of my hair after I shower, but even with that my hair was for frizzy than normal. Overall: Such a great smelling product that doesn’t leave a greasy feel on my hair, if only I could get the balance of it not leaving my hair frizzy this product would be perfect. Honestly, I will probably still use it occasionally, though, just because it smells so good!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely love the Sol de Janeiro Strengthening + Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner duo. First of all, it smells amazing, and the scent actually lingers in my hair in the best way. It also leaves my hair feeling extremely smooth, shiny, and really healthy-looking. I have a short bob and naturally curly hair, and with this kind of haircut it’s really easy for my hair to not sit right or feel frizzy. Since using this shampoo and conditioner with my routine, my hair feels bouncy, smooth, and very polished with minimal frizz. It still has enough weight to hold its shape, but it also feels light and feathery at the same time, which makes styling so much easier. My routine is to shampoo twice. The first wash lifts away buildup and oils, and the second wash really lets the shampoo work effectively. Then I follow with the conditioner. After the shower, I apply Tresemmé heat protectant, then blow dry my hair using the Drybar Triple Shot blow dryer brush. Once my hair is blown out, I add It’s a 10 Miracle Oil Plus Keratin for extra shine and smoothness, and then finish with my TYMO 2-in-1 straightening iron to refine everything. Overall, this duo leaves my hair soft, shiny, smooth, and easy to style, and it works especially well for keeping a shorter haircut looking polished without feeling heavy. ✨

Smells really good, but weighs my hair down and leaves a film on my hair. I usually use Aveda cherry almond shampoo and conditioner, but I love sol de janeiro body products so I wanted to give this a try. I have medium-thick, 2b wavy hair that is relatively dry, frizzy, and coarse without enough moisture, so based on Sol De Janeiro's description, it sounded like this product would work well for my hair, but it doesnt. It weighs my hair down a lot, becuase of this, my hair has less frizz, but it almost has a film on it once it dries down. It makes my hair look dull becuase of this film-like quality. This film is almost greasy and feels like it over-moisturized my hair. So they should advertise this differently, maybe this would be better for very thick and coarse hair rather than medium thickness. At this price, I would expect salon-quality performance from a product, which this does not deliver. I will go back to using my Aveda products which are in a similar price point anyways.
