  • Just like new!
Size: 128GB Color: Cosmic Gray Service Provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
I bought this phone in 2023 because the S20 was still a better phone value/feature than anything Samsung has come out with since 2020. The price was nice and the 5G works incredibly well. All the apps and features I need work incredibly well and the data speed is tremendous on T-Mobile. The camera is great for my needs and it integrates well with all of my apps that need a camera. The finger print security is awesome but don't tell my wife that she could use my phone if after she knocked me out or bumped me off and then used my right index finger to open the security lock. ... show more

At first, I was kinda scared after reading some reviews where customers said their's didn't work properly and kept updating or rebooting. But mines works great! Functions properly and love the quality. My last phone was a galaxyS9 (also bought refurbished) so I'm very happy. Looks great, works great, and at a great price. Will definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Works okay, missing some features, Verizon won't help, now I'm out of luck
Size: 128GB Color: Cosmic Gray Service Provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
Update March 2023: Verizon really does not want to help you if you do not buy the phone from them. They don't care if it is missing features, even if you are a 25-year customer, because you did not buy it from them. That is what I am dealing with now. In my initial review I indicated you have to visit a store to finish setup because that's what I was told through a Verizon chat. They did swap out the SIM card , but could not do anything else. I was told they do not do any software flashing, they are not even sure what that means, and there was nothing they could do at the retail store to help me. I had to call the call center again which I literally did from their parking lot because I told them it was the second time I had visited a store and they're representative had told me to go to the store! I spent 2 hours working with, or on hold with, the call center, and still did not get the correct functionality! They really don't care and don't want to help you unless you pay the astronomical amount of money to get a phone directly from them. My phone still drops calls, does not always call out, does not have voicemail, and does not have the spam filtering. So now I am stuck with either living with that, or paying to upgrade to another phone. The whole reason I bought this one off Amazon is because it still has the micro SD slot and that is what I want. I'm going to try to make it work, I'm very upset with Samsung that they are doing away with the SD slots and hope someday they will bring it back. The bottom line for me is the phone works okay. I have to dial in to get my voicemail now and had to have all of that reset, there is no voicemail icon. There is no way for me to know I have a voicemail I just have to call to see if I have any messages. So if you are okay with a phone that doesn't quite have perfect functionality, then this is a great one. It is decent for the money. If you want a phone that works just like one you would get from the store, bite the bullet and spend the money and go to Verizon. I have gone to two stores, I have done one chat, and been on the phone with them, multiple agents, for over 2 hours. Apparently this is as good as it's going to get for this phone. Feb 23 initial review: I read a few of the reviews, somehow I miss the part where if you get a phone off of a site like amazon, you do still have to take it into your provider for setup? My provider is Verizon. I happened to go in there yesterday and said I had a different phone (had both with me) they told me just to move the SIM card and the SD card over and they did not have to do anything. Today only half of the phone functions, and through a chat they told me I have to come in to have their software flashed onto the phone. I was already there and took the time to drive there and wait etc, only to find out that was not necessary. Now it is necessary because the phone doesn't function correctly. Hopefully once that is done it will be fine. Facial recognition does not work as well as I had thought it would. I will probably erase and try again but it consistently does not recognize my face. I did try to put a screen protector on and I adjusted the touch sensitivity but the phone still did not recognize a touch so I had to take that off. I'm a little nervous about having a screen without a protector I am a Samsung Galaxy lover, I have the s4, the s5, and the s9. I stuck with the s20 because it has the SD card slot. So far so good, there are some things I don't like about the phone, but it's a good value for the money so far ... show more

  • Nice phone, but slippery and expensive to replace the front glass
Size: 128GB Color: Cosmic Gray Service Provider: Verizon Product grade: Renewed
We just upgraded from our old S7's to these S20's. Love the additional power of the phone, the battery life is easily double the old S7 (even with more frequent use during the day than what we typical did on our S7's). Screen resolution is super, camera is great. The things we didn't like are: - the phone is slippery, especially with the curved front glass on the long edges of the phone - the slim/lightweight style phone cases that protected the S7 won't protect the front glass on the S20, so you either have to never drop your phone, or you have to get a heavy, bulky phone case, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a thin, lightweight phone - depending on how you're holding the phone, the curved edge can allow the phone to think that your holding fingers are actually trying to touch the screen and get interpreted as finger presses, which can lead to unexpected things happening on the screen or no action at all when you try to press a screen button or scroll with your other hand (because nothing happens since the phone thinks your holding finger is doing something). So you have to hold the phone the 'right way' to make sure the screen works. Unlike Steve Jobs, I don't think you should have to hold your phone a 'certain' way in order for it to work correctly. - The curved edges make the front glass easy to shatter if you drop it front-glass down (see attached pic). Even with this little damage to the screen, the screen is half white, which makes the phone completely non-functional. - It costs *more* to replace the screen than to buy a new phone (as of 10/26/22, screen replacement is $270, and the new phone with tax is $230). - The phone doesn't support a micro-sd card. - The phone doesn't have the nifty blinking blue/red/green LED on the S7 that let you know if you had a missed call, notification, or low battery. I miss that feature. So, while it is a great phone and screen, the practical issues involved in everyday use fall short. We can't recommend this phone. We are now looking at the S20 FE, which has a flat screen like the S7, a plastic backside (unlike the S20's glass backside), which we think will be a much better choice for our needs. Note that the S20 FE as a new phone cost less than the S20, but the refurb'd FE's cost more than the refurb'd S20's. I think this is the marketplace voting that the FE is a better practical phone than the S20 flagship. And the FE front screen replacement only costs $150, which is a deal since you are much less likely to break the glass on the FE. ... show more

Honestly I had pretty low expectations when I ordered this phone. The phone I received looked like it had never been used before it was in such pristine condition. I'm really pleased. It was a cinch to set up with my cell company and is serving me well. Happy to have a good quality phone without having to pay an arm and a leg. ... show more

  • Phone is great if you get what you ordered
Size: 128GB Color: Cloud Blue Service Provider: Unlocked Product grade: Renewed
Finally got my S20 unlocked and I love it, works great and it's in excellent condition. That is after a very lengthy return/refund process because I had to return my original ordered where I was wrongly sent an AT&T phone instead of the unlocked phone I had ordered. It boggles the mind that they can ship you a phone in only a few days but it takes over a week to return said phone if there's a problem. ... show more
