This is what Hugo Boss does better than pretty much anyone else in the fashion watch space: surprisingly affordable watches with simple, classic styling that could easily pass as high end to everyone but watch nerds. My watch collection is mostly made up of Alpinas and Seikos around the $1K mark (not bragging; I'm a cheapskate, but I got them for free), along with a few novelties and interesting vintage watches, so the sort of watch Hugo Boss puts out shouldn't really interest me. I'm already very well served for classically styled stainless steel watches built to a high standard, but still I find myself wearing this watch just as often as I wear my Alpina Alpiner 4 automatic, which retails at more than 8 times the value of the Hugo Boss. Of course my Alpiner 4 has an incredibly well engineered automatic movement that with regular servicing should still be keeping correct time a century from now, while the Hugo Boss watch has a simpler, cheaper mass market quartz movement, but who cares? I won't be alive in 100 years, but I could happily spend the $1,400 difference today on, y'know, rent and food, and I'd still have a great watch on my wrist. If you're looking for a simple, beautiful and classically style watch that will turn heads in both formal and casual situations, and you don't want to have to sell your organs to afford it, I'd happily recommend this watch. It's a great looking thing, and thanks to the quartz movement it's also slim enough to fit beneath all my shirt sleeves without catching. I've no complaints. ... show more

This is my third Boss watch in my decent sized collection. They cost a bit more than I usually spend for a watch, but the simple, modern style is irresistible. I have other watches with similar looks, but somehow the weight, proportions, materials and design are flawless and simply more gorgeous on Boss watches. With or without the logo, this is a watch to be cherished and shown off at any occasion. A terrific gift idea and it comes in a beautiful box. I bought this as a gift, the box is sticky and defective. The watch is full with minute scratches and dirt and clearly look used. Disappointed and returning.

Hugo Boss is really putting out some nice watches at a really great price point. This is a really stylish watch that can be worn with almost anything for any occasion. It can be worn at the gym, to work, or to the club and will look great at all of them. It is understated but really adds to your outfit. Some watches bother me after a couple of hours of wearing them but this one is comfortable to wear for long periods. It keeps accurate time and is really well made. The media could not be loaded. Collecting watches is something I like to do with emphasis on being able to wear a new one every day of the week for several weeks. I like higher end watches from trusted brands such as Hugo Boss. I have about half a dozen of the Hugo Boss watches from the past year as well as this year and I love them all. Within this selection there are a few that stand out and I am happy to say this super nice stainless steel quartz variation from Hugo Boss definitely is an instant favorite. What makes this a standout not only with this brands series but with watches in general is its light weight design. I love metal wrist bands but often have to not only remove several links right away but also struggle with the clock face and band being bulky. This heaviness can actually strain your wrist to the extend of flaring up previous wrist injuries. That is what happened to me from wearing heavier metal based types from other brands. With this Boss watch being so light weight it has revolutionized the design of the metal watch that still utilizes the thicker link style wrist band. This watch looks like a traditional metal band but is actually much thinner not only with the wrist band but with the clock face and the rest of the watch. What is genius about this watch is it feel even thinner than a watch I have that has that super thin metal band that looks like thin chain metal. What I mean by this is this watch looks much heavier than it is with its super thin design ending up being one of the most comfortable watches I own. Its like it just rests in place without barely making contact- that is how it feels - I know it has the same amount of contact with the wrist as other watches- this one just feels like air. I love the solver color of the polishes stainless steel along with the shiny metal of the markings on the clock face. The hour markings are nor roman numeral or regular numbers but single bars. These bars glisten when you walk by and you do not have to be in the sun for this effect to happen. I have been wearing this watch at work where I am in a dimly lit place and the clock face bars are glistening away. I received several compliments on this watch today. I love how Boss appears in capital letters on the top part of the clock face then on the back of the band the same brand title appears etched into the main metal clasp that fastens the band to your wrist. This brand name appearing here is nothing new it just looks super nice when used on a silver dominant watch. With the middle background of the clock face being black it gives of a very stylish and professional image. In the video included I chose to show the watch in the nice box it came in and wrapped around the tiny silk pillow thing that the company always uses. I also included two pictures of the watch on my wrist. In conclusion I am very satisfied with this watch and recommedn it. ... show more
