  • Putting the roof on is a pain!!
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 10'
Love the finished product! Nice sunroom, a little challenging putting the roof on. It took three guys. The instructions are not good. Very confusing. Overall worth it.

  • Review after installation
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 16'
I did not buy this off of Amazon, but I bought the exact one from another site. Since installing it (about 3 days ago), we had one very heavy rain storm. Installation: Like what has been said, no words in the manual, just pictures. For the most part, this isn't bad. There were a few times where trial and error took place. But overall, it really isn't that bad. I put it together myself in about two days. If I had started early and worked all day, I probably could have finished it in a day. I did use my 13 year old daughter to help with the roof. Other than that, you really don't need two people. That being said, it definitely would have been faster with two people. The roof...oh man the roof. The roof was the only difficult part. I would recommend two things. Don't used the nuts that they provided - they all seem to come off, and used three people if possible. It would have taken half the time if I had another set of hands to help. Weatherproofing: Like I stated previously, it rained very hard after I set it up. The water leaked from the side panels...actually quite a lot. I think I can take care of this with some silicon sealant. It looked as if the way the water came off the roof could have made the water entering through the panels worse. So I need to figure something out to funnel the water away from the panels when it rains. It may have also leaked from the design of the windows. It appears that there are basically three channels in the window (The screen and the upper and then the lower plastic window. So because of this the water was entering through the screen and pooling in the middle channel (for the the upper plastic window). I need to look at that problem more to see if it happens again and, if so, what needs to be done. So I have had it for less than a week and overall I am happy with the design, materials, and size. When winter comes and we get a snow storm I'll update how it handles the snow. My advise is, as stated before, read the directions multiple times then plan a long day or two of assembly (and get more than one person if they are available). For a product that was sold out, I was surprised about how little info there was on the internet about it. It is a pricey product, so over the long run, hopefully it is worth it. ****update**** I have had this for 4 months or so. I am happy with it with a few minor complaints. The main one I am seeing now in winter is that the door slide is on the outside. We have had a few days of rain followed by cold weather. This has caused the water to pool in the door tracks and then freeze causing the door to be frozen shut. I was able to muscle it open a couple of times but the last time I had to use a blow dryer to melt the ice to be able to get it open enough so I was able to go outside and use a screwdriver to remove the ice. The only other complaint would be, again, the design where the water comes in the windows as I said above. The good news is that we have had some ridiculous wind storms here. The first time part of the roof flew off but I blame myself for that. I didn't fully secure the roof but after that time I bought screws and bolts and put extra long screws to hold it down. Since then we have had a few more wind storms and the thing has held up nicely. We will see after a real snow storm how it holds up. ... show more

  • Bad instructions
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 13'
I love the sunroom once it was put up but the instructions were so bad and some pieces were not the actual pieces for my size room. We made it work though . It took us so long to put together because of the bad instructions. Putting pieces together and redoing it again. I would not do this again ever. Should have listened to the reviews. After weeks of putting it up, we sealed up the room and made sure it was completely rain/ bug proof, we love it. My husband and I have put up lots of different projects, nothing compares to this. This was definitely a love hate project. The reason we took over a month to put together was because we were so frustrated that we had to step away for a minute because we kept having to redo steps do to bad instructions. ... show more

  • My husband’s man cave
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 13'
It was a bit tricky to assemble not going to lie. But once the walls are up it is pretty easy from there. It adds a beautiful outdoor room for us to enjoy. We built a deck to put it on and the solarium is very well made. We did purchase a big outdoor hanging fan also from Amazon to keep us cool because it does get warm in there. We are in Florida so of course it will be warm. One thing if you live in a deed restriction community you may want to get it approved. Lesson learned:) ... show more

  • Nice screenroom not so nice instructions
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 13'
We purchased this screen room for our seasonal camper and we are very pleased with it. Assemble for 1 person took about 6-8 hrs - and 1 hr of that was spent unpacking everything - would definitely go quicker with two people. The items came in good shape with only a small dent in one of the panels that we can easily live with. The instructions are NOT the best and I found myself taking things apart just to flip something around or some such because the instructions are not clear - you really have to pay attention to the drawings. The room consists mostly of panels which go together in a snap. Well engineered and designed. My biggest issue was the roof which is made of steel panels. These are heavy and difficult to assemble and the screws are very small and the nuts are as big as an aspirin. But once you get all that done and the final braces go on it becomes a very sturdy structure. So overall impression is good - Directions could be more detailed (just pictures no words) and the roof design could be more efficient/well engineered. So be patient, make sure you have a friend - make sure you look at the pictures for correct orientation and you should be good to go. ... show more

  • Amazing 3 season solarium
Style: Freestanding Size: 12' x 12'
This 12x12 Solarium is the best purchase we ever made for our home. A great place to retreat from the hot sun & to keep the mosquitoes & other bugs away from enjoying the outdoors day & night. Highly recommended buying it for your home. The directions are a little annoying but thank god my husband is a handyman. He had one issue with the roof panels because he accidentally put a few panels in the wrong way & we had rain that leaked through overnight. He made the corrections & everything is perfect. ... show more

  • Really bad directions
Style: Wall-Mounted Size: 10' x 16'
The assembly was fairly easy as the parts all went together like they were designed to. I would strongly recommend though anybody that buys this do not listen to the 8-hour recommended install time. As I am a general contractor and a built-in many things for many people. It took me and my partner 10 hours to put this together the directions were absolutely terrible. I would not recommend ever reading the directions as you will get further along without reading them. My overall impression of this is do not buy it ... show more
