This bike is better than I ever imagined and at an amazingly low price, packed full of features. I as a senior citizen wanted to purchase my first ebike and did a lot of research as to what was available, what had a reasonable first time price, what had great reviews and most importantly to me what had great customer service. I mean let’s face it no matter how nice or good the price without great customer service it’s all a waste of money. I received the bike in about 4 days and the very simple assembly took about 30 minutes and finally charge the battery and I was ready to go. The bicycle rides and runs like a dream, absolutely amazing. Everywhere I went people stopped me to say how great the bike looked and asked where I got it. I have recommended this bike to everyone I met and will continue to do so. My first day I rode 15 miles without being winded or tired, it was a breeze. I know you probably won’t believe this but my battery still shows a full charge! The disc breaks work effortlessly, and the shifting is smooth and accurate. The horn is very loud ,headlight and rear light bright and one of my favorite features the rear break light is bright and gives a sense of comfort in traffic. The only draw back I found was the assembly instructions could use a little better translation but I got help with that also. I needed better clarification on the actual battery and indicator so I emailed Sohoo Bike and expected a reply within a few days, boy was I surprised when I received a phone call 20 minutes later from one of their customer service representatives who took the time to answer every question I had. I’m so excited by this bike I feel like I should be a salesman for them. Excellent bike, phenomenal price, outstanding customer service, what else can anyone ask for ( especially us seniors on a fixed income). I recommend this Sohoo Bike for everyone and check out their other models, just great bikes with real customer service and support. ... show more

This bike is AMAZING! Look no further because you have found the perfect bike. It is so well built, strong with sturdy construction. This was a gift for my husband and he is impressed. Honestly, it seems like it should have cost more than it did. We like that it has a brake light in the back and an optional headlight and taillight for when you need them. The seat is comfortable and my husband does not feel it will be necessary to change the seat out. The bike has a good and not annoying sounding horn so no need to purchase an aftermarket one. It is a seven-speed bike and you do not need more than this since it is an electric bike. It comes with five pedal assist levels which are independent of the traditional seven speeds. The display is the perfect size/brightness and is easily viewable. The initial setup to customize the bike’s digital settings the way he wanted it only took a few moments and the bike was easy to put together since it arrived 90% assembled. He likes that he can conveniently choose between using it by throttle only or peddle assist and throttle combined. If you are debating between this 500W and a lesser watt bike, we highly suggest paying a little extra and getting this one as it is essential to have the power this bike has; it is plenty for my husband who weighs 240 lbs., but he wouldn’t want less. With all this power, the brakes work excellently and he has no issues with coming to a complete and safe stop as necessary. The tire quality is also above what we had expected. I am likely this world’s pickiest person and neither of us can find a single thing that we would want changed in regards to this bike. After ordering from sohooebike we were personally contacted by them to see how they could assist us with this new bike. We have since called and texted them questions and received prompt responses.     • High Quality Bike Made for New Adventures
I purchased this last October for almost $500 over the current price. Clearly, there must be fierce e-bike competition which makes this bike a bargain for $899. What do I like? This is a solid bike. It can be heavy but it's very well made. LIKES: Once you figure out the control screen, things get easier. Also, the brakes are very responsive and well made. This bike stops on a dime. This past weekend, I went riding over gravel trails for two days at a state park. The tires grip the road- I was a little concerned initially because of the gravel but the bike maintained contact with the road the entire time. I'm 5-7 and the step over bike is great. One more thing, when you take the battery off, the bike weight is manageable- my wife and I were able to place it on our bike rack behind our car without any issues. The brakes activate a brake light under the seat. The throttle is also responsive and works great. Battery - especially with pedal assist last forever. DISLIKES: I found the manual and instructions for the LCD Display and controller to be confusing. My wife finally figured out that there was no pedal assist on Mode 6. The one positive of the LCD Display is the display is bright and is easy to read even in bright sunlight. The seat is terribly uncomfortable and I ended up with a seat rip in my first 20 miles and I only weigh 180lbs. Find a better quality seat - Giddy Up makes some great seats. By the way, the paint quality is excellent - this bike is a looker and the green machine is a beauty. I probably overpaid for the bike - getting this high quality bike for under $1000 is a bargain - buy one! ... show more

Absolutely love this bike. Easy assembly with easy instructions. Very solid and strong sturdy frame. Long lasting power and very well equipped. Bike is even better than I expected. Quick with acceleration and the brakes are very responsive. Great customer service with quick response when asking questions. Overall 5+ In addition to this review, a picture of another bike is shown. This is because I cannot review the bike in the photo because it is no longer available on Amazon. I am assuming it is because it is sold out or a newer model is now available. These bikes are a good as it gets for e-bikes! Both bikes are a blast and we enjoy them almost on a daily basis.
