We had originally bought the one from Micheals that was almost $90. It was always dropping stitches, it would get jammed and the handle wouldn't budge at all. We tried all the different types of yarn on it and only like 2 would "properly" work if that. It was also incredibly loud when turning it. The legs would also constantly pop out when your trying to hold on to it. You also only get one small size needle and one tiny crochet hook that barely grabbed on to anything. This one works like a charm! It's a lot less quoter when turning it. There's a lot less stitches being dropped. But if you're paying close attention, it pretty much does it perfectly. The legs actually screw in so when you're holding it, the legs don't pop out when you're trying to turn the hold it. We haven't had the chance to use the small suction cups that come with it. But I would assume they work pretty decently as long as you're not rough housing it. I also love that it comes with different size of needles. This one actually feels like it was worth buying and is actually worth what I paid for it.

I first saw the Sentro knitting machine on tiktok and knew I had to get one. Traditional knitting has always been something I wanted to do but could never quite get the hang of it. With this machine I was able to quickly make a little beanie for my dog! So firstly, this comes in a box and you have to attach the legs, suctions cups, and tension guide. The legs and tension guide were a breeze but let me tell you the suction cups are not to be messed with! They will require your full strength and then some to get fully into the slot. The screwdriver they include is cute because it matches everything else, but the handle is weirdly sharp. It kept hurting my hand and even kept snagging my sleeve when I used it over my hand. I will say this machine definitely has a learning curve. I’d highly recommend finding some in depth video tutorials on YouTube. Once you get the hang of casting on it’s very easy to do. I was very impressed with the quality of the knit and how even the stitches are! Overall, I think with some patience and practice the Sentro Knitting Machine has proven to be a very valuable and creative tool that can help you create high-quality items for a great cost. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the look and feel of knit but can’t do it or wants to cut down their time!

I popped out a lot of hats for the holidays. I like it but I noticed it will randomly tuck or drop stitches and once it starts it won't stop so I had to manually go back in and try and fix the problem. But when I runs smoothly it creates a nice product. I can't understand how to use the panel setting properly.

The media could not be loaded. This is not worth your money. Hi! I’m a senior in high school, and for my senior project I wanted to crochet hats and scarves for the homeless and thought this would help me move my production speed faster. Well! This 60$ machine, yes that’s how much I had to pay for this, is very irritating. If you do not have a certain yarn, there will be several dropped stitches. And I mean a lot. On average I had 7-12 dropped stitches per row. You can imagine my frustration when I have to stop every 5 seconds to manually put them back on the hook. I even searched up different YouTube videos to see if the tension or something else was the problem, but nope! It’s the yarn that’s the problem. Not only that but this machine would jam on absolutely nothing. I know this because I’ve had problems where the yarn would tangle and not go through or there was a knot that was too big, but after the twelfth hat I made, it started making this loud noise and would not move for 30s-a minute constantly. For a 60$ machine this thing sure is cheaply made. The tension guard broke while I was in the middle of making a scarf, as well as the handle seeming like it was coming off. Do not buy this! It is not worth your money, find a more high quality product that is worth your time.

1) So easy to use! 2) Quickly knit tubes or panels. 3) Comes with drill gun attachment, for even faster use. 4) Really neat and fun to use. 5) It is a bit noisy, if you are easily bothered, the clicking may get annoying. Our daughter got this for Christmas and has already made 5 beanies and is attempting to make pants. She is experienced with crochet, this is her first time trying to knit. This contraption is AMAZING, fast and easy to use!

I was really excited about this knitting machine and I did have to watch a few YouTube videos to really get the hang of how I can use it without the stitches slipping off. It makes great products when everything is going well. I don’t like that it clicks or seems to be have a hard time with the first five rows in a new project when doing in the round. I have not tried the flat panel feature for this I only knit in the round. I have probably made about 20 or less beanies and unfortunately the row counter was off by a few rows and now it completely doesn’t work at all. Quite disappointing that I’ve had it for under a month and the stitch counter feature already does not work. I’m considering returning and purchasing a Addi knitting machine instead. The suction feet are okay as far as keeping it in place while not in use, however when using I have to hold it down with one hand and crank with the other. The suction cups slide around on the surface so although the machine does not lift, it does not stay in place which affects the tension. I would recommend Velcro or clamps to hold in place on the table like I saw in some YouTube videos however I have not tried either. This machine isn’t that great of a value.
