I was torn about my initial urge to rate 5 stars, but, I am going with it. For the cost of the machine, it's not reasonable to expect it to be perfect with all yarn. If you pick the right yarn - it's flawlessly wonderful. So, for the cost and for what it is capable and compared to competitor machines - I love my Addi. It does have issues with less expensive yarn - but shouldn't that downgraded review go to the yarn? It works perfectly with most yarn. It's fairly well known that the less expensive yarns are problematic for Addi & Sentro machines. I did buy an upgraded part on Etsy to make my Addi work better with cheaper yarn like Red Heart. I prefer the Addi to the Sentro, and I did upgrade the Sentro gear prior to trying the Addi. Also, I did find that the right tension is also a factor in avoiding skipped stitches with both when using less expensive yarn.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely love this knitting machine! Easy to use and set up. I make hats and headbands with these machines. I use #4 worsted weight yarn in the Addi machines and have had no issues. My favorite yarn to use is the I love this yarn brand at Hobby Lobby. You can make a beanie in less than 30 minutes once you get the hang of it. If you are thinking about purchasing one I highly recommend it!! They also make great gifts for kids too!!

This knitting machine is awesome. The size is just right and it not noisy. It only makes a clicking sound as the counter counts each row. I am so glad I purchased this machine. So far I am satisfied with it. I have it mounted on a small table in my den where I work on my projects.

I recently purchased the Addi Express King Size Knitting Machine, hoping to streamline my knitting projects and enhance my creativity. However, my experience with this particular model has been nothing short of disappointing. Unfortunately, both times I received the product, it arrived broken and unusable. The first time I received the Addi Express King Size Knitting Machine, I was excited to try it out. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I discovered that the gear was completely broken. It was evident that the machine had not been handled with care during the shipping process, resulting in a faulty and non-functional product. I contacted customer support and requested a replacement, hoping that it was just a one-time issue. To my dismay, the replacement machine I received was also defective. This time, the handle was broken, making it impossible to operate the knitting machine. It was incredibly disappointing to encounter the same problem with the replacement, as it indicated a lack of quality control or proper packaging measures. The fact that such crucial parts were damaged raised concerns about the overall durability and reliability of this product. I found the whole experience extremely frustrating and time-consuming. Dealing with customer support multiple times to resolve the issue was an inconvenience I had not anticipated. Not to mention, the disappointment of not being able to use a product that I had eagerly awaited and spent my hard-earned money on. The Addi Express King Size Knitting Machine had the potential to be a great addition to my knitting tools, offering efficiency and speed. However, the recurring issue of receiving broken machines has severely hindered my ability to enjoy the benefits this product promised. I have a friend who has this knitting machine and she raves about it! I ordered one and have made four attempts but it continues to drop stitches. Granted, this could be "user error" but I am very careful & follow the instructions closely, but with no success. I'm Not giving up though. I will persevere until I get a completed project put of it.

Works great! I love it! I have two Sentros and they don’t seem to work with certain worsted yarns. However, the Addi is a great addition to my circular knitting collection as I will be able to use a variety of yarns now. This is a must buy-you will not be disappointed!
