These are perfect size and cushion. I had previously purchased Dr. Jills Gel Ball of Foot Cushions (Self-Sticking and Re-Usable) and felt they did not cover enough area on my 7.5M foot. I'm attaching a photo for size comparison. They only down side to SofSole is that they don't stick to your foot like the Dr Jills and depending on your shoe they may not stay [perfectly in place. ... show more

These gel inserts are incredibly helpful to ease pain in feet that have borne abuse over time, an arthritic toe, etc. I tend to put a couple of them into the sole area of the shoe to provide extra padding. They seem a bit narrow. But, they are a great invention.

These gel shoe pads are a total savior for me. I am on my feet a lot and am also an older woman -- so am not so resilient to standing a lot. Whereas before I had a lot of foot pain, using these pads is like night and day. I put them directly on the bottom of my feet with my socks over them. They stay completely in place throughout a long day. I wear them with boots, sneakers, regular lace-up shoes, etc. They do not work well directly in the shoe and foot -- like with sandals. In that case you would have to buy a pair that is adhesive-backed. These do not have adhesive and do not need it the way I use them. I cannot praise them enough. Seriously. My foot pain due to callouses on the bottom of my feet,, etc., is gone. ... show more

I was hoping for this to help me with the pain I have on the ball under my foot, and it probably would've worked if it stayed in place. I tried putting it in the shoe, in my sock, i tried sticking it to my sock and as soon as i put my foot in my shoe,it moves around. This might work for heels but not for anthing else. Sadly I don't wear heels, so this will be completely useless to me. ... show more

Placed sideways for better width, must be glued to inside of shoe or they will move. I used pliobond/Gorrila contact adhesive, placed just back of where my toes are located. Most certainly reduces "foot-burn" generated by friction. Much cooler ball of foot.

Except for the fact that, there is no adhesive on the bottom of the insoles. Most people, especially persons who wear high heels, know that if there is nothing to make these insole pads stick, they generally wind up anywhere but where you placed them, and often rolled under. For that reason alone, I give them a D. And I think they are seriously overpriced, as I found them worthless. Too bad, as in every other way they are just ideal. ... show more
