When I first got these, I couldn't connect them to the sodastream and was worried there were different sizes and I somehow hadn't noticed. Not sure what the trouble was because they ARE the correct size. I don't think there's more than one size for a sodastream. The full sized bottle that comes with the sodastream is usually what I'll use when I want to enjoy it during the day, but the smaller sized ones are perfect for meals or to share with friends. We have had a side stream for about three years now and we ended up losing one of the bottles so I purchased additional ones. If I had never lost the bottles, I would’ve never replaced them because these bottles are great and made really well. When receiving the new bottles, I did notice that there is an expiration date on the bottle which I thought was funny because I didn’t know bottles expired.Lol! The bottles are extremely lightweight twist really tight to keep all the air in so your bubbles don’t escape and I like that. There is a fill line. These bottles work like originals for my SodaStream unit. I never cared to the 1-liter bottles and I cracked the lid to the one I have that allowed the carbonation leak too quickly. These 1/2 liter bottles are perfect to an easy to mix bubbly flavored drink. I also use them for a small, personalized source of soda water for mixed drinks. The 2-pack is good for making multiple sourced drinks for different purposes. They clean up easily and fit into the SodaStream unit perfectly, staying secure until completely finishing carbonating.
