  • Best ladder I've ever owned - light weight & sturdy
This may be the best purchase I've made in years. I currently have 6 ladders. I sold 5 at garage sales earlier this year. One of those sold was a 7 foot little giant ladder. It was just too heavy to manipulate. This ladder is only 28 pounds. Extends to around 11-12 feet. I weigh 204 pounds I found this ladder very stable, easy to extend and form from "A" frame straight. It's a little narrow, 12 inch wide rungs, but that's okay, it helps reduce weight. I purchased it just last week to help me paint the fasia board before new rain gutters go back up. The other ladder I used was a 14 foot fiberglass and it weighs about 50 pounds. It's a real pain to move around. I really like this new ladder and wish I had purchased it years ago. There are stabilizer bars that came with it I added at the top and bottom. You don't really need one on both ends, but it's there. It's very versatile, easy to fold and unfold, light weight and for the price a great deal. Update: I just ordered gutter guards off Amazon and they really help now that I have new gutters installed. ... show more

  • Light but sturdy
Size: 14 Ft
I’ll give it 5 stars as I love his it folds down and is so easy to store. It is a little scary because it’s so light weight that it’s hard to believe it will truly hold you but my friend is a solid guy weighing over 300lbs all muscle and used it effortlessly. I weigh 120 and can carry it easily alone. It was a little tricky extending it by myself but once you get the hang of it it’s not bad. I love it. It was a great investment and is so versatile. I keep it in my laundry room because it’s so easy to pack away. ... show more

  • Great must have purchase!
Size: 14 Ft
This ladder is a fantastic purchase, comparable in quality to more expensive options but at a much lower price. It’s sturdy, versatile, and works well for various home projects. One standout feature is its lightweight design, making it easy to move. The ladder folds into a compact size for storage and transportation, extending to different heights when needed. Switching positions is quick, and the locking mechanisms are secure and easy to use. I recommend it as a small to medium-sized option for use around the house and for various projects. ... show more

  • Damage was cosmetic
Size: 14 Ft
Ladder is as described. It’s a light 24 lbs and sturdy. It’s not as rigid as my 60 lb Little Giant. For an indoor ladder, it does not need to be. I am 225 lbs and felt secure while using it in extension mode. The ladder had a few dents and scratches from delivery. Structurally, it is fine. It did not arrive next day as promised. It did arrive the following day. Given the price and functionality, I would buy this again. ... show more

  • Compact, super sturdy, and extremely easy to set up!
Size: 17.7 Ft
I replaced my heavy traditional ladder with this telescoping model, and it’s been a total game-changer. It expands smoothly, locks with a very reassuring click at every step, and feels completely solid underfoot when climbing. It collapses down super small, making it effortless to store in a closet or trunk. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Incredibly stable and saves so much garage space!
Size: 17.7 Ft
I was a bit hesitant to try a telescoping ladder at first, but this one exceeded all my expectations. Raising it up is super smooth, and every single section locks into place with a clear, heavy click that instantly puts your mind at ease. I weigh around 195 lbs and felt completely safe climbing up to clean my high gutters and change outdoor floodlights—no scary flexing or wobbling at all. Retracting it is just as simple, and the slow-closing mechanism ensures you never have to worry about pinching your fingers. When fully collapsed, it occupies almost no footprint, making it easy to slide into a tight garage corner or the trunk of an SUV. Lightweight yet built like a tank. Easily one of my best tool purchases! ... show more

  • BEST LADDER EVER! Many positive comments about my great choi
Bought the Soctone 17 ft (extended) A-Frame 4-step, multi-position extension, which as others mention is actually around 14‘ 6” extended & about 7’ plus in the A-frame position. Since i was aware of this from reading the reviews it was what i expected, no worries. The 17’ measurement i would guess includes extra frame length that doesn’t count towards reach / height because there is overlap when configured in one of the multiple position options to hold everything properly in place. The included tray that holds tools, paint, etc. in A-frame position is a necessity in my opinion; I would’ve had to buy an add-on tool tray if I’d selected a different ladder that didn't come with one. Everything was carefully, & neatly packaged, & clean without scuff marks or abrasion. It was easy to assemble, logical, & a pair of extra nuts & bolts were included - jic any should be misplaced you can keep upbyour momentum without stopping & stressing over small hardware items. A cute little rubber head mallet came with it, so you can gently tap on the plastic foot caps & the stabilizers (which really do improve stability). It would've been helpful & convenient if one of those thin, lightweight type wrenches was also included so that i had the correct size at hand since my selection of tools is limited. I especially appreciated the mallet & when done using it to assemble the ladder it was added to my small tool collection. Those extra touches show care for their customers & pride in their products in my opinion. It was helpful that there were two of us putting it together. One person could probably handle it, still it’s nice to have a second pair of hands, someone to hold one side in place while the 2nd person adjusts the other side & that kind of thing. Two main uses were intended: (1) for easier attic access through the ceiling in a closet; (2) cleaning & maintenance (like gutters), & small DIY projects at home, particularly painting - exterior trim on a ranch level brick home & a bonus-room with tall cathedral ceilings (so at least as high up as it will let me reach). The purchase was a big expenditure for me even though very reasonably priced & during the time i was researching it happened to offer a limited time discount. i spent hours & then more hours reading reviews & comparing the many styles of homeowner grade ladders that look & are described so much alike but with some important differences in safety, functionality, & quality. Eventually i chose this Soctone with safety & sturdiness being the main deciding factor for a ladder that meant my basic needs. Now that i have used it on muddy ground, concrete, carpet, & wood laminate flooring for a couple of months or more, i am comfortable verifying that it is absolutely the sturdiest, safest feeling ladder of any kind that I’ve ever used. Anyone who has checked it out or used it at all has made unsolicited positive comments about it, as if pleasantly surprised. As a 64 year old granny i have used my share over the years, & the sturdiness is more important than ever! It is still a ladder with hazards naturally, which should be used with good common sense, attention, & caution. It is about 23 lbs i think? Maybe 27 lbs - don’t recall offhand. In my younger days I would’ve considered it light but with passing years it seems like a lb weighs more these days - haha - still, i can move it from here to there by myself well enough, even open but it’s easier when it’s cosed up. Be aware this is a folding extension ladder, not a telescopic ladder. Therefore, when folded up to put away it is deeper than the telescopic collapsing type so a bit more awkward that way if you are a small, short person. ... show more

  • Came a little beat up and I should have read the fine print on the size.
As a ladder I will be able to use it but it's significantly shorter than I thought it would be and so I've had to order a separate ladder. It does say that in the fine print ("helps REACH length of X"). I bought it for the A-frame shape only and I misunderstood that it was 17' for the single ladder form. It did come pretty beat up and the support legs are not usable but it feels safe enough for a small person to use. The bag that all the parts came in was torn and loose tools and nuts were tossed about in the box...Luckily there were no holes in the box. It is nice and lightweight and all of the important components were there. It seems a better deal than the Little Giant brand.....ultimately i probably wouldn't have bought it knowing what I know now about it's size but I will be able to use it. 3 stars. ... show more
