This is very fun and makes a nice snow projection. The lens projects well and it looks beautiful. What is kind of nice is that the further the distance the larger the flakes get. However, my problem with it is that the hardware of everything is plastic, which is okay, but I question it's durability for prolonged outdoor use during the winter. It all seems rather cheap in places. In particular, the stake, base and attachment are all plastic. The attachment to connect the light to either the circular base or stake is horribly flimsy and the screw that is provided is too short for it to be easily adjustable. When you untighten the screw, the bolt on the other side will often fall off if you don't hold it all together. The last thing you want to be doing is to be making adjustments outside in the winter and have the thing fall apart on you. Then are you struggling to put it back together with cold hands. Overall, this is nice, for the projection aspect, but I would recommend indoor use only.

This light works well but covers a smaller area than anticipated. I eneded up using it inside around the Christmas tree and it is perfect. If you are looking for a light to cover a large area like the outside of your house then this may not be for you. Perfect for smaller areas!

So the image of the snowflakes are bright and crisp. Really nice projection of the snowflakes onto whatever surface. I don't see you being able to cover your house with 1...maybe 2 but likely 3 would be needed for most houses. I think for one you could showcase on a double car garage door without too much trouble. But anything more than that you have to go back so far that the snowflakes appear huge and too fuzzy. If you decide to use indoors; you need to be 20-25 feet away from the way to really get the effect. If any closer the size of the projection is just too small. Maybe 5-7 feet. So its a bit too isolated for any real usage. Or you could take advantage of it and use it closer for pictures or great holiday decor for a party. I debated between a 3 and a 4 for rating just due to the size of the projection. But given how clear the snowflakes appear I bumped it to a 4.

We got this thinking we'd put it outside for a quick & easy Christmas decoration, but wound up enjoying it indoors more. It was very easy to set up and use. There are several of choices for speed, but you cannot change the flakes. Personally, we feel the big ones are a little too large for the realistic illusion, but since it's all or nothing, we choose all. It's still quite fun, festive, and sort of mesmerizing to watch. Since we've been enjoying it indoors, we haven't tested the waterproof claim yet, but everything seems well sealed. I believe it will do just fine outdoors, too.

Good: The projector does its job competently - projects an animation of white snowflakes to the target area. Construction seems to be good, the remote works, and there are sufficient mounting options. Th price is decent for what you get. Could be better: The projected image is too narrow to cover a modest size housefront. It's enough to project a reasonable image onto an area the size of a two car garage. In order to cover a larger area, you would either need additional projectors, or to move further back. Moving further back creates a larger coverage area at the expense of loss of brightness.

Te light has a 180 ° large light angle rotation and can cover an area of 15-54M. The light comes with a wireless remote control, you can control the light projector from 10M distance and change the rotating mode by controller: ON/OFF, FLASH+, FLASH-, MOTOR+, MOTOR-. The remote control has memory and Timer function: 2Hrs, 4Hrs, 6Hrs. It comes with a 6.2 inches anchor spike and round base. You can place this outdoor projector light on the ground, table, a pole, on the wall by using screws. The LED light is an energy-efficient laser light. This is a well-made product, and I can give it a 4-stars rating.

I live in the desert and we do not get white Christmas here - ordered this snowflake projector to blanket the front of the house for our decor. Crisp and beautiful snowflakes with various speeds to control with provided remote and can even make flash if you like that style of lighting. Only thing I wish it had was the ability to project broader - I had to keep moving further and further back to get to cast broader. I have different projection lamps for I love these but this one does not cast as wide - BUT will say the image is beautiful and crisp - bright too - therefore I would recommend. If planning to cast over entire home will need to order 2. Option to mount or stake in ground. Comes with remote. Easy to set up and use.
