I hung it to dry when I washed it and it really didin't take it long to dry out. My only critique would be that it was waterproof in that the inside layer did not get wet. We got stuck in quite a downpour and the outer part looked soaked but he was still dry inside. Very light weight, vibrant color, good room to move around in. The material(fabric) inside coat made him sweat easily and stick to the skin. A little tug is needed to take jacket off. Sleeves look tight but weren't.
