I wish I had known about this before I purchased a $300 radio for my other car! This beats it hands down 100%!!! This Multimedia Car Player is fantastic! I have an iPhone and the “Car Play” feature is great! Never drops out or lose connection with my phone and everyone can hear me clearly as well! All of the different ways to connect are great too! It was easy to connect and had everything to do that with ease. Plenty of wire to reach anywhere! And the mounts are spot on too no matter where you want to put it! Support is fabulous as well! I had read in other reviews about the front camera time being off from the current time but doubt there is a firmware update that resolves that so I contacted support from the email address provided in the manual and they sent me the firmware update pronto! It was pretty simple to install but if you don’t know your way around a computer then they can send you the chip and you can just plug it in where the micro SD card goes and do it that way. It just takes longer to get the chip if they have to ship it to you. Support was very prompt, kind, knowledgeable and attentive to all of my questions. I wish some other companies would take lessons from them. Lol… Kudos to tech support! I plan to post a video here soon and explain more about the product but I don’t believe you will be disappointed at all with this little jewel I know I’m not.     • Random Resets, it's fixed now.
Worked great for last 4 to 5 months, now disconnects from Android Auto randomly. I like the unit's mounting system and ease of removing from the mount and storing it away. Reached out their customer service asking for help, let's see how they respond. For now this is almost ready to hit the thrash! Edit: 05/17/2026. Found the issue, it was Android 16 update that broke the connection. Found this from a different product listing, "If your phone is running Android 16, frequent disconnections may occur while using Android Auto. Please follow the steps below to fix this issue. 1.Search for and download EVELink from Google Play on your phone. 2.On the smart screen, switch to SuperLink (Android mode). 3.Launch the EVELink app on your phone, then connect to the smart screen. 4.Wait for the message "Android 16 Auto Connect issue Fixed" to appear in the EVELink app. Once shown, tap OK. ". Tried and it has been working fine like before. So increasing the rating from 2 to 5 stars. The customer service is top class, they helped with troubleshooting and when none of those worked they even offered refund even after 4 or 5 months, now that is customer service. ... show more

    • Definitely a good unit, but not perfect
I've been using this since June 2025 and it's not Feb 2026, so I've been rocking with this for a while. I got this because my built-in CarPlay/Android Auto didn't work well with my Android and the sound would cut out. This display works consistently and streaming music and using GPS have been perfect. The included charger shorted out, but that was my fault. I've been using a different charger with no issues. The video streaming isn't worth using though. If you're looking to be able to watch videos, don't. It will frustrate you. I have tried this with both my iPhone 15 Pro and my S23 Ultra. I also cannot connect this to my car with Bluetooth. I have been using an aux cord to stream from the car. The built-in speakers aren't worth using as they're very tiny and do not sound good, but that is to be expected. I haven't tried connecting this via FM radio, but I think I will and then update with the results. I'd love to eliminate one cable from the setup if possible, which is why I wanted Bluetooth to work. ... show more

    • Could have been the perfect screen but it is far from it! Very Buggy and awful screen!
I had very high hopes for this unit. I wanted to replace an older unit that I was using in my car, but this one was advertised with more and better features. So I bought it. Upon receiving it, I was very glad that this unit has a different way of mounting it on my dashboard, which is exactly what I needed, a way to mount it flat on my dashboard. The rotating camera is also a nice feature, and it seems to be of decent quality. That's about all good i can say about this unit. Now to the rest. The screen colors are very washed out and dull, unlike the older unit i was replacing, on this unit, the screen brightness sensor doesn't work; you set it to auto, and the screen brightness doesn't change. In order to increase the screen brightness, I have to set it to manual, and turn it up all the way to the maximum level which is 100, and still like that, the screen is not very bright, and again, the colors are very pale and not vibrant at all. Connectivity is an issue, and doesn't have to do with phone compatibility, as I tested it with 3 different phones, and with all three it behaves the same way. If you connect it for Android Auto, you must always use the option of Audio and Phone calls on your phone's bluetooth connection for this screen, unlike the other unit i was replacing, which allowed me to use the screen just for maps and navigation, and set the call and audio features to off on the bluetooth' phone menu, this one must always be used for calls and audio in order for it to connect and show the maps. If you turn the audio and call features off, the unit won't connect to your phone the next time you turn on your car. And you will have to clear all connections, and pair this screen to the phone again. About the audio, if you connect the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to this screen, you do get sound from your phone through you car's speakers, but you also get sound from the screen's built in speakers, so if you're listening to some music, you get this distorted sound because your car speakers sound good, but the unit's smaller speakers sound awful, and it distort the sound in your car. It should be that if you connect the 3.5mm output on this unit, it would disable the unit's internal speakers, to allow the sound to just output through the 3.5mm sound output. Another thing that doesn't work well, is the settings on Android Auto, if you set Android Auto to switch between night and day mode automatically, it doesn't work, the screen always stays in day mode. The software on this unit is very buggy, and the functions don't work well as they should. And the screen quality is very bad, not bright and not vibrant at all. I regret having purchased this screen to replace another unit like this one but older, which really worked well, and all the functions mentioned above worked without any bugs, with instant connection to my phone every time, with or without the Call and Audio settings disabled on my phone's Bluetooth. For reference, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and my wife's phone is an Iphone 16 Pro Max, my son's phone is a google pixel. And all of them have the same issues with this unit. ... show more

    • An interior camera with no infrared? HUH? WHY???
Ok, I’ll give props for decent quality of the screen, resolution, brightness, either use, in general quality built, but I’m left with one substantial question… I have a camera that can turn 180° into the cabin so you can take the cabin but not have that camera be infrared so I can tape it at night which for Rideshare driver is at least half the time you would use that feature? I would’ve gladly paid 10 to 15 more dollars if they just made that lens infrared and kept the unit instead they opted to have a stupid design that was budget, conscious and impractical for the vast majority of people that would want to use it in the first place. So as long as you don’t need the camera to be used in the cabin for anything other than daytime use it’s fine, but if it were me, I would have infrared cameras, and I’d also demand the newest feature I see appearing on CarPlay screens, which is over there updates.     • Get this, you won't be disappointed.
This is a fantastic purchase. I rarely write reviews, yet I was compelled to for this. System bootup takes 3-5 seconds at most. It turns on and off with car start, no manual start up necessary. Automatically connects to Apple Carplay (probably Android Connect but can't be certain). Very importantly, the audio signal connects via FM radio and the volume (unlike many others) is normalized correctly. Radio volume does not need to be loud to hear it correctly. This eliminates the background buzz. If your dashboard is flat, use the holder, it is a fantastic look. The system is sufficiently responsive. Not iPad speed, but no lag when bringing up map or music player. So all that said, it behaves like an in-dash unit! The base is flat so if your dashboard is curved, you'll have to accommodate. I used Alien tape and that worked great even on my curved dash. You won't need to purchase anything else besides this to have an integrated car experience for your vehicle. It also has backup camera and a forward camera if you want to use that as well. Nutshell version: Get this, you won't be disappointed. FYI: I bought this for about $70, can't beat it. ... show more

Best addition to my work truck for easy, hands free navigation & music streaming that leaves my phone free for other tasks. Plus the constant recording dash cams! I bought another for my Lexus dash and will be getting a third for another work truck I'll be using. The Android Auto is what I mainly use withe Google maps big and Spotify on the side (Bluetooth'd to my phone). The device itself does not Bluetooth connect to my separate BT speaker nor car stereo. They both auto connect to my phone when powered on. I use it all day every day for work and anywhere else I drive after. I'm honestly surprised how well the touchscreen responds and has held up with constant use. Wipes clean with no wear marks at all. The dash cam is very high quality image displayed and able to be wirelessly shared (1-3min clips) to your phone for showing proof, of any shenanigans, with ease. Just be careful of coworkers who may hate on you for having such a setup. They may try to throw some shade! ... show more
