This car seat has been a game changer. We got this smaller size for my small SUV (Dodge Journey) because she loved the same seat in a larger size for our Dodge Ram so much. She’s a 6lb Yorkie and now 10 years old. We struggled for YEARS with her getting car sick. Did not matter if I was holding her, or if we had a car seat in the back. Once we got the larger one of this car seat for the truck and put it between the front seats it was like she was a different pup. She loooves being a co-pilot and car rides now, we don’t have to worry about her getting sick ever, and we know she’s safe! We’ve had the larger one over a year now, maybe two? And the smaller for about 6 months I think! We will never go without this exact seat again. It’s one of those things that you say “I wish we would have known about this when she was a baby”. I looked high and low, bought several and returned them, and absolutely love this one. It is so soft, the straps are very secure, my little 3 pounder is so comfortable and I think he's happier to be able to look out rather than on the car seat. It fits very well on my arm rest and heh enjoys being that close to me. I'm sure a dog double the size or more could fit in it. With a harness clipped to the inside strap I feel he is very safe. This car seat is very sturdy and our pup seems to really like it. So far my only annoyance is the steps u have to take to remove the cover to wash it. It would be nice if the cover could just slip off and back on. But u have to remove the seat, take off the clasp and strap adjuster, feed it through the cover and seat and reverse for putting it back on then re-install the seat. ... show more

First of all Snoozer's service is outstanding. It took a little extra help to adapt the car seat to our new car that had a slightly different console configuration. We received that help big-time. As far as the product itself, it is sturdy, well made and appears to be made of quality products. The mounting is sturdy. Once mounted it is easy to detach. Our 3 lb Yorkie was getting car sick riding in an enclosed carrier in the back seat. At that weigh, keeping her food down is really important. Now she rides next to us, with her own video screen in front of her which she lets me use on occasion for navigation. The car seat elevates her so she can see out the windshield. Her little head is constantly on a swivel looking through the windshield and side windows, and on occasionally commenting on my driving. She is sufficiently secured in the pet seat so, for instance, her little paws cannot reach the radio turner buttons to change the station or mess with the A/C. This saves alot of arguments. While the car seat is well secured, it can slide a little bit to the front and back. This give us the ability to shift the car seat forward to reach the cooler on the floor in the back or shift the car seat back so that there is plenty of elbow room to steer the car. This little bit of give probably makes the car seat a little safer. In summary, this is an outstanding American made product that is worth every penny of the premium price, ... show more

This seat fits perfectly on the console of my C8 Corvette. I carved out a little foam on the right side so it would fit around the raised edge of the console button panel, then added a crossflags patch using fabric glue. Our eight-pound Pomeranian fits perfectly in the small Snoozer.

I have a 3 pound Chihuahua. She usually likes to be in my arms but when we are long trips, I put her in the backseat and she can’t seem to relax back there so I bought her this and she loves it. She feels safe she lays in it and sleeps, when I don’t have it on and I take her with me somewhere, she’s literally asking for me to put it on. She’s very picky, so I am very happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend it’s a little bulky when not in use but she is totally worth it.
