The down side is the clear plastic top cover looks very brittle and the bottom tote part has spread a bit, making the top organizer not want to click in the way it way supposed too. ... show more

I decided to keep this, even though the description was misleading and it won't do what I wanted, it is still gong to be somewhat useful. I bought this with the idea of protecting my 24" carpenter levels and a few other tools. I'll now have to buy yet another for that purpose. The Amazon web page description says it is 26.4" X 12.75" X 9.75" - However the label on the box says 24" X 12 5/8" X 9 7/8" - the truth is something else - see the photos. The largest square space in the bottom is only 21" X 6.5" - There is no way I could get even one of my 24" levels in this box, let alone all three. Still, it holds my 3/4" electric drill, saber saw, and several other small hand tools. This "tote" looks like it was designed for some particular tool set and later sold separately. The label also says, "Tools and accessories not included. - - Made in Israel - - " Possibly it's a production over-run. Depending on your personal perspective, the lid is either a good or bad thing - it only opens straight up and cannot be laid clear over. Some of the dividers were missing and others are molded into the case and cannot be moved. The photos show more details. Overall, it seems reasonably sturdy for a plastic tote. I like the latch designs that allow for easy separation of and opening of the organizer. The label says "Guaranteed Tough" - "Limited Lifetime Warranty". (I note from my days as an entrepreneur that few people demand satisfaction, so such guarantees are usually just to provide buyer confidence and pose little risk to the seller. However, Amazon dot com makes up for that.) Being made of a plastic that has electrostatic properties, it didn't take long for the cover to collect a film of dust that makes it look badly scratched up (soon will be anyway), but, hey, this is not for some show room. Also, it's not very dust tight - riding around in my truck, it collected quite a bit of sandy dust inside. If you want something pretty, this is not for you. However, if utility is your aim, and you don't mind adapting a peculiar design for your needs, examine the photos and descriptions and decide if this is for you. ... show more

For a toolbox this is just how I like them, (MASSIVE) but that may make it more than others will like. I packed all my sockets in the top, which detaches into the nicest ratchet toolbox I've ever had. The bottom is filled with bits, screwdrivers, wrenches and drills (yes, plural!). This puts the whole thing at around 75 lbs which I don't mind but might be overkill for many. Very solid, the sockets stay put, the handle holds up to the weight, and it's got everything I use all the time in it. Can't beat it... ... show more
