What a special ornament. This is a Kate Spade/Lenox cat Christmas tree ornament that is lovingly made with attention to detail. It comes nestled int the Kate Spade signature green box. It is made of porcelain and the glazes and finish are flawless. The eyes, nose, whiskers and ears are gold paint, and the other colors are vibrant and glossy. The white finish is evenly applied and has a satin finish. It has a smooth bottom that reads "kate spade NEW YORK LENOX". It comes with a gold hanging cord with a tassel on the end and a small golden tag that reads "kate spade NEW YORK." This ornament is approximately 4" tall, and the base is approximately 1 1/2" x 1 3/4". The base is flat, and the cat can stand solidly of one wants to put it on display on a shelf or in a cabinet. It is also lightweight, so this lovely cat will not weigh down your Christmas tree branches. This is a rather expensive ornament, geared toward collectors of Kate Spade, Lenox or Christmas ornaments. This ornament is a collaboration between Lenox and Kate Spade - you get a typical Lenox porcelain figurine, but in a green-colored box. This is a current Lenox production, manufactured in China, the quality is on par with any recent Lenox ornaments. The design is cute, the execution leaves a bit to be desired (hand painting is a bit sloppy) - but that is not especially noticeable except for a very close examination. Overall, a good addition to an ornaments collection, and will make a nice seasonal gift.

My daughter has her own little Christmas tree that she gets to put fun ornaments on and she loves cats so I am thinking this will end up on her tree because she loves it but definitely pretty enough and nice enough quality for a beautifully decorated tree as well. Wonderfully packaged as you would expect and would make a nice gift.

When I received this, I thought it looked like a Lenox item, and it actually is Lenox & Kate Spade. The color scheme definitely looks like Lenox. This is a cute ornament, and it is actually bigger than I expected. They show it on a miniature tree, but it is a full-sized ornament. I love the color scheme with the gold details and the string of lights around the cat. Yes, it is pricey for an ornament, but that's because of the brands that made it. I'm sure anyone that likes cats, Lenox, Kate Spade, or even just cute ornaments would appreciate this as a gift. I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

This Kate Spade/Lenox porcelain cat Christmas ornament is as pictured, but isn’t particularly impressive. I’ve bought similar quality ornaments at Home Goods and Marshall’s for considerably less money. It comes nicely boxed, and ready to wrap as a gift, but unless you’re looking for this specific collection of ornaments, I’d keep looking.
