We got this for the purpose of having a space for my Pomeranian to recover from surgery. I like: I can’t lift her up instead of drag her out of a kennel, so it’s gentler on her. The locking features to keep her calm and secure while recovering. Also I can feed her in there with it shut, so no other dogs can get to her food. It sturdy. Way less jostling to move her because I just carry the basket. No uncomfortable transfers for her. The vet loved it and actually kept her in it pre and post op, so she felt more secure having something from home. The only thing I’ll add is a Velcro strap to keep both sides open all the way if I want to. Overall this is a great, protective carrier/bed/car seat. Thank you. ... show more

I am very impressed with the build-quality for the price! I’ve spent almost twice as much for other lower-quality pet backpacks and soft carriers, so I love that this is the perfect blend of soft materials, a hard/strong framework, and less importantly, an overall stylish carrier. My cats are 9.5 pounds (the small gray cat) and 13.5 pounds (the medium tiger tabby cat). My bigger cat is very long and tall (think oriental shorthair mix), so the 15 inch ceiling is a little low for him, but it’s fine enough for short trips in the car when closed, but I would keep the top open for longer road-trips. The heavy-weave fabric and rubberized mesh are great for longevity (and claws!). The portability of a collapsible frame and easy opening is also great for travel. The sand color is also lovely and will not get as hot as darker colors during summer. *** I do wish the securing clips for the top were METAL, as I can see the plastic wearing down or warping over time until it no longer stays shut. ... show more

I have an 8 pound chihuahua and needed a way to secure her in the car since the booster seat my other dog uses just doesn't fully contain her if she tries to jump out of it. This one has a strap inside and the top comes down so she definitely can't get out and hop back and forth in the back seat. It's also relatively easy to get in and out of the car, securing it with a seatbelt. Easy to carry as well. ... show more

My dog is OLD, and so we want him to not walk up and down our stairs; we call this his "elevator" :) Love that you can zip it shut so we dont have to worry about him jumping out while we're bringing him upstairs, and its great to keep him secure in the car! Plus, the color is so cute.

Got the pink for our sweet girl but it’s a pinkish purple color. Still very pretty. Great size for our small kitten. Folds down to store, can be used with a seatbelt, snaps in easily on both sides. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This was perfect for my older dog to lay in comfortably in the backseat during our trip. Not much cushioning inside so I laid my dogs favorite blanket inside. Flaw: The push lock on both sides were a bit stiff so you need both hands to open them. But Atleast I know he’s secure inside without it randomly opening. I also wish the carry handle was more like a handle rather than a structure for the canopy. There is some room for your fingers but not enough the way I preferred if I were to transport the carrier around. Also the bottom stands are secured with two velcros on each side which isn’t too secure. It tends to un-velcro (not a word, lol) itself from the stand which slouches the structure of the carrier with my dog in it. When in the car I usually secure it with the seatbelt and extra seatbelt leashes so it won’t move during the ride. Overall it was a needed buy for me and hopefully it’ll hold for future uses. ... show more

I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. The construction is SOLID, the bonnet latches secure and the netting on the windows is durable. The quality of this carrier is a delightful surprise. It is a little heavy but that's because it's so well made. It's not a hunk of plastic! My 3 month old pup LOVES it, takes naps in it, and makes the cats REALLY jealous! It's a real hit!
