This is a very sturdy car seat for my puppy. Looks to have enough space for her to grow and use a few times. It was easy to put together and put in the car. It has a strap on the inside that secures the fur baby inside. It wasn’t too heavy with her inside and easy enough to travel with. We got this for the purpose of having a space for my Pomeranian to recover from surgery. I like: I can’t lift her up instead of drag her out of a kennel, so it’s gentler on her. The locking features to keep her calm and secure while recovering. Also I can feed her in there with it shut, so no other dogs can get to her food. It sturdy. Way less jostling to move her because I just carry the basket. No uncomfortable transfers for her. The vet loved it and actually kept her in it pre and post op, so she felt more secure having something from home. The only thing I’ll add is a Velcro strap to keep both sides open all the way if I want to. Overall this is a great, protective carrier/bed/car seat. Thank you. ... show more

    • Great carrier for small dog
We tried several different car carrier options for our small dog, including a travel crate and three booster style seats. She never acted comfortable and whined constantly while we drove anywhere. Finally found this carrier and she immediately loved it. I could snap it closed and tether it with a seat belt, and she was secure and could see out the mesh sides. Now she jumps in the carrier when I ask if she wants to go for a ride, and she settles in nicely when rIding. Highly recommended for small dogs. (Ours is 6 lbs.) ... show more

I bought this carrier thinking I would use it to bring my new puppy home and thought I wouldn’t get much use out of it.. Boy was I wrong. This carrier has become my puppy’s safe space. She loves it. I do too. So easy to close her in, strap to the seatbelts, take in and out of the car. Its one fault has been mentioned by other reviewers and that is, it lacks a secure way to keep the lid open. I’ve learned to tuck the middle rib under the handle but it can easily be knocked down by a curious pup. It hasn’t been a big problem as of yet. We get so many compliments on it every-time we go anywhere. I have the smallest size for a toy dog expected to be 10lbs. She’s still small but I see this carrier being hers even when grown. And all three of my Littles tried it out. Only one (a boy naturally) kinda freaked out. But my girls continued to sit in it after I opened the cover. I don’t have much need for a carrier normally, but decided it would be less stressful for them for vet trips mainly. I don’t like for my babies to be on the floor in a vets office with so many big dogs around. Even if everyone is on leash, sometimes it gets crowded. One bite and that could be it for my tiny dogs. You have to plan for worst case scenarios all the time and having them tucked safe in this carrier solves the problem. Plus it’s cute. ... show more

These are wonderful for small dogs. If you are nervous about your small dog sleeping in bed with you this is great. Excellent for new puppies if you don’t want them to cry all night, just place on bed.

I love this carrier but I feel it needed to be taller, it was hard for my mini pin to stand up which she loved doing, she’s very tiny too so makes me wonder about other pets
