She was in a cast up to her hip and had limited mobility so walking up and down our porch steps for her potty runs was not in the cards. I looked for all sorts of ramps to make it easier to get my e-bike (aka very heavy bike) in and out of my porch where it lives. Most were super expensive and designed for way too much weight--like those used to get motorcycles onto truck beds. Others looked pretty good but came in pairs. This is perfect. i needed a small ramp for my dachshund Rusty. he's older now and he's suffering from joint pain. i wanted something that could make it easier for him to leave and come back into the house after doing his business. i found this ramp and i knew that it could work for him. the ramp arrived in a beat up box, but i didn't care. the ramp itself was in brand new condition and very sturdy. my only complaint is that at first, my dog was slipping going down and up the ramp because there's no real traction. luckily, my son was able to modify the ramp with a course carpet (too bad the manufacturer couldn't do this) and that worked out perfectly. now Rusty has no problems using it. i am very happy with my purchase. ... show more

This was a great product, though I exchanged it for their folding longer one as it was a little short for our dog and made it steep, so make sure you do some checking based on the length and height. Our dog is much older, 35 lbs, and having issues with her hind quarters where she just can't jump or step up as well as she used to. I used their 59" long one (that folds) so she could step up our 2 porch steps. Works great. And it is water proof, so we can just leave it out there. ... show more

DO NOT BUY this pet ramp! I bought it for my miniature dachshund to use outside going down and up 3 low-rise steps at my front door. (1) The headline and the listing both say the ramp is 39 inches long. But, the usable portion -- the ramp -- which goes from the bottom where it rests on the sidewalk to the top where it rests on the top of the front stoop -- is only 36 inches. I had measured carefully. Those missing 3 inches make it worthless. The dog should be able to step on, seamlessly, at the top of the ramp and step off, seamlessly, at the bottom of the ramp. (2) The non-slip portion of the ramp has an extremely rough sandpaper surface that could be damaging to dog paws -- especially for an indoor dog or a dog that is sick or elderly. Completely unacceptable. The shorter-than-described ramp and the extremely rough surface that could be damaging to dog paws was not described at all. I am very unhappy with this product! It came from Wayfair via Amazon. Frankly, I thought both Wayfair and Amazon were better than this. I would have given this Trixie pet ramp 0 stars if I could have. Bad Trixie! Bad! Bad, bad, bad! Bad Wayfair and Amazon! Bad! Bad, bad, bad! UPDATE: The day after I received this useless pet ramp I requested a return. Even though the Amazon headline for the ramp listing says it is 39 inches, it is really only 36 inches, top to bottom. And, nowhere in the listing does it say that an extremely rough sandpaper surface is what they call non-slip. Further, the listing says this is for small, elderly or sick dogs. How much worse would an elderly or sick dog feel with their paws rubbed raw on this extremely rough sandpaper "non-slip" surface? To add insult to injury, I now have to pay the shipping costs for the return -- even though it was Amazon's and Wayfair's fault for misrepresenting the product: (1) Listing an incorrect measurement and (2) Not stating that the non-slip surface is sandpaper rough. I am going to contact my credit card company. Amazon and Wayfair misrepresented this ramp. If Amazon and/or Wayfair won't pay for the return shipping I want the charge reversed and I will trash the ramp. DO NOT BUY this ramp if you care about your pet! ... show more

Delighted with this product from a US based company. It was by far the best price I could find. It is light weight and easy to open/fold. The made in China ramp is sturdy and wide enough for my husky/malamute mix. The slip resistant surface is an added safety feature not found on all ramps.
