    • A Great Kit to Spark an Interest in Electronics
Style: Journey
Review Image by Amazon Customer
I bought this kit for a child who was curious about electronics, and it has been an excellent purchase. What I like most is that it isn't the kind of toy that's used once and then forgotten. The included project book offers many builds with different difficulty levels, so there's always something new to explore. The parts snap together securely and feel very durable. Since no soldering or tools are required, kids can focus on understanding how circuits work instead of struggling with assembly. Another big advantage is that Snap Circuits kits are compatible with each other, making it easy to expand the collection over time without starting from scratch. If you're looking for a gift that combines fun with real learning, this is one of the best STEM kits I've come across. ... show more

    • Fun set!
Style: Journey
Got this as a Christmas present for our 11 year old grandson and he loved it. He has a number of other Snap Circuit sets we've gotten for him in prior years, and they are one of his most favorite gifts each year. All the sets work together, so this just adds to his collection of components and allows him to build much more than just this set. It's a great STEM toy that allows him to be creative while learning. Highly recommend this whole line of products. ... show more

    • New Android not supported, but you can make it work
Style: Journey
My son, 9 years old, loves this thing! At first we were very disappointed to see that the Google Play Store states that the app is incompatible with any recent version of Android. However, I downloaded the .apk and installed it manually, and it's working great.

Very expensive for what it can do. It will entertain your kid but expensive compared to other snap circuits.
