I just installed these cross bars on a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport L. The provided instructions cover most of the front and back of one sheet of paper. I looked but could not find an installation video for this particular model of crossbar, so all I had to go by were the instructions. And the installation was pretty straightforward, once I figured out the one thing that perplexed me. More on that in a few minutes. First, the pieces were well-packaged, making sure that nothing was marred or scratched in transit. I appreciate that. Second, everything I needed to do the job (almost) was included. Installation (use a stepladder or stool so you can see and reach the roof of the car easily): 1) The product comes as two metal crossbars, four metal end pieces with two plastic covers, one with a keyed lock. There was also a ziplock bag containing 8 bolts, an Allen wrench, and an L-shaped star wrench. Oh, and one extra bolt for connecting the bars to the end pieces, just in case, and a set of two keys. 2) The first thing you are instructed to do is remove the two plastic pieces from each end piece. The piece with the lock was quick and easy to remove. Then I looked at the plastic piece covering the other side, and after close inspection, I saw that it was held in place by four small plastic tabs, two at the top and two at the bottom. I pushed gently, then harder, then harder, but I didn't want to push so hard that any of the plastic tabs snapped off. So, I got my smallest standard screwdriver (this is the only tool I used that was not supplied), and while pushing on the back of the plastic cover, I inserted the screwdriver between the cover and metal end piece, and the cover snapped off - no broken tabs - whew! 3) With the end pieces prepped, the next thing you have to do is remove screws that already in place on both ends of the crossbars. 4) With the screws removed, slide the crossbar into the end pieces - there is leeway here that allows the crossbar to slide in the grooves of the end pieces - this is how you adjust the length of the bars to match your vehicle. 5) Next, attach the sponge pads to each of the end pieces - this is the part that will come in contact with your car's side rails. 6) The side rails of my CR-V had threaded plastic screw caps in the ports where I needed to insert bolts to secure the crossbar assemblies. Amazingly, the provided L-double star wrench fit these so removing them was easy. 7) Next, I took one of the crossbar assemblies (they are labeled front and rear with arrows to let you know what goes where and in which direction - thanks!) and laid it across the roof to check fit. Once I saw now much I needed to adjust the length, I secured both end pieces to the crossbar with the screws I removed earlier. 8) With the plastic screws removed, I inserted the provided bolts and inserted them only finger-tight, which let me play with final positioning of the crossbars. Once they were in place I did a final tightening of all bolts. 9) The next to last step stymied me for a minute or so. This step was reattaching the plastic covers that I used a screwdriver to remove. After trying a few things, I discovered how to reattach them. Insert the bottom two tabs into the metal end piece, and then, while pressing on the outside surface of that plastic cover, I pulled back like I meant it, and they snapped into place. 10) Final step - attach the outer plastic cover that has the lock - easy, and I was done. I took my time, and I was done in maybe 20-30 minutes. I like to be deliberate when I do things like this, so you may finish quicker. As for the product, you can see from the photos that the product looks nice. It also looks and feels solid and secure. I'm super glad to have these crossbars so that whenever I need to haul something large, I can attach it to these, and whatever I'm carrying won't ride directly on the roof. Aside from the minor challenges (not worth the deduction of a star), I'm extremely pleased with this addition. 5/5 stars!

Installation was a semi-nightmare, you will need to finish tightening all the screws in awkward positions with low space clearance and risk of scratching your paint While most of it is metal construction, there are a few plates that are plastic that id prefer it being metal but structurally it is very stiff and sound! The locks are a nice plus and its seamlessly blends into the look of the whole cr-v (2024)

We just installed these cross bars on our 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport L. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow. It shows you every step along the way, very easy. Everything was really well-packaged, which was nice. No worry about anything being damaged in shipment. It comes with the front and rear crossbars and associated end pieces to attach it to the rails on either side. Initially, you need to take out the two silver screws from each end of the crossbars. I did this for both bars and unlocked the end piecies to open that all up. Then slid the end pieces on and hand tightened them in place. (Per the instructions) You want them loose while you tighten each of the black end screws to the rails of the car. Then tighten those silver screws. Put on the end pads, and then you're pretty much ready to get these installed on your car. In regards to the installation, I used a step ladder after installing one side. It's just easier than balancing on the door sill. Tightening the black screws take awhile and you want them tight. This was probably 80% of the time taken during the installation of these bars. Get them finger tight first, then finish them off with the Allen wrench they provide. I would say that it might take about 30min front start to finish, but I went slowly and was careful to attach them solidly to the car without causing any damage. Overall, they are really solid and strong and look good on the vehicle. The fit is perfect. I am very happy to have these when we need to transport things up on the roof.

My new CRV didn't come with roof racks, so I ordered these and they fit fine. Won't use them much, but good to have if I ever need to load the roof with camping items. Was able to get them on with the help of my wife without too much trouble.

These lockable roof rack cross bars are a nice addition to my 2025 Honda CR-V. They fit securely and hold up well during long drives. The design is sleek and doesn’t add much wind noise. I like that they’re lockable for added security. Installation was mostly straightforward, though the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. Overall, solid quality and great value for extra storage space.

The cross bars fit a 2025 CR-V and the installation was very straightforward. Although not tested with the rated load capacity of 265 lbs, the cross bars held up very firmly with my ski racks and gears which weigh about 80 lbs. The car looks very sporty after I installed this.
