I've dealt with tight back and neck muscles for years and I have all sorts of gadgets, tools and massagers to help combat it. However, this is the best massager I've used hands down! Massage guns can be awkward and tiring to hold and you can't easily get to your back yourself. I also have a back and neck massager that is a strap and you hold with your hands/arms. That's better but then you have to contort your arms to get it in the various spots along your back. However, the Snailax Shiatsu Massage Cushion does the work for you! You just set it up on a chair, sit on it and turn it on. It really does all the work for you. It will go up and down your back for you - kneading you back the entire time. There are different functions you can select like just on your upper or lower back. It even has a spot feature to have the massager focus on a specific area. While doing that, you can have your tush and back legs massaged with the vibrational cushion. All of this plus heat. I've only had this a couple of weeks but I have already noticed huge improvements in my neck and shoulders. If you have a chronically tight neck or back and find it hard to get to all the spots, I strongly recommend this massager. I love it so much, I got one for my dad for Christmas.

It's kind of awkward positioning sometimes if you are a shorter person. That being said if you can figure out how to adjust that you are good. I LOVE this thing, best thing I have ever bought myself. Very far reaching and decent pressure. Sometimes I will actually feel and hear my back do small cracks/pops when it loosens up a muscle lol.

I bought this massager almost a year ago and I love it. It gets the job done and feels great; I have a lot of back issues and pain, and this helps to keep that pain from getting worse and worse like it usually does when I use it often. The first one did break; one of the massage balls tore through the fabric, but that’s probably because of user error. However, I contacted customer support on their website and they sent a replacement out to me right away. It was seamless and I’m thankful for their timing as I didn’t want to go too long without massaging my back. I think I got the replacement within 3 business days. The first one lasted me almost a year, and if it hadn’t of been for the ball tearing through the fabric part (there is a padded covering that ensured my safety so I wasn’t harmed!) I’m sure it would have lasted for a good while longer too; it’s really good quality for this price point. The noise level is amazing; practically no noise unless you’re using the vibration setting, and even then it’s minimal. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a decent massager and doesn’t want to break the bank. You can control where there massage balls go (higher or lower), and you can keep them in a certain spot as well. There is also a really nice heat option that just adds a bit more relaxation; using that during the cold months was great and kept me toasty!

I purchased the Snailax Shiatsu Massage Cushion with Heat hoping for a relaxing and effective massage experience while I worked at my desk in my office, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Here's my breakdown: Massage Functionality: The massage function is fairly decent in that it covers your entire back, but it doesn't compare to a professional massage (which I didn't expect, because it's a chair massager!) or even some other massage cushions I’ve tried. The kneading massage is noticeable, but it’s more of a mild sensation rather than something you truly feel working out tension. Heat Function: The heat is very mild—more like a subtle warmth than a heating pad-level intensity. If you're wearing more than a single layer of clothing, you might barely notice it. Adjustability: I did appreciate the customizable options. You can focus the massage on your upper, middle, or lower back, or even pinpoint a specific area. This feature is one of the highlights of the cushion. Comfort and Build Quality: The cushion is comfortable for extended use, and the overall build quality is excellent. It feels durable and well-made, which gives confidence in its longevity. Ease of Use: Setting it up was a breeze. The strap kept it securely in place in the office chair, and the remote control is very intuitive—no manual needed. It’s also lightweight and easy to move between chairs, although it’s best suited for office-style chairs. Value for Money: The price is reasonable, but the massage function just doesn’t deliver enough for me to recommend it wholeheartedly. For those looking for a light massage, it may suffice, but it’s far from being one of the better options out there. Room for Improvement: One thing that could be improved is the timer. The cushion shuts off after a selectable 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Final Thoughts: Ultimately, I decided to return the product. While it’s well-built, convenient, and affordable, it fails to perform well in its primary purpose: providing a satisfying massage. If you’re looking for a deeper, more effective massage, this may not be the right choice. I can’t recommend it to friends or family for that reason.

I looked at a number of different massaging mats/cushions. Upon receiving it, at first blush I was very pleased with the quality of construction. I didn't know what to expect for sure, but this is a well-put-together piece of equipment. To be clear, while I think this would work amazingly well in a car (and it does come with a car adapter), that is not why I purchased it. I bought this to use on my couch at home, as I suffer from back and leg pain and a good massaging mat is something I've been wanting for a while. This isn't a flimsy mat. It has a pronounced, sturdy, lumbar support for the lower back. The mat is memory foam, and it supports very well. The massage it delivers is very good. It has five different modes (pulsate, tapping, rolling, auto, and kneading). I prefer the rolling feature where it works its way from the top of the cushion, and then it activates progressively downward to the thighs. Then it starts the cycle over again at the top. It is incredibly relaxing. the product also comes with instructions for activating the 2 year warranty. I sent an email and had a response inn less than an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. The only information they required was my order ID# from Amazon. Another reason I like the product is because over time some couches (mine at least) tend to sink in a little bit as time goes on and you repeatedly sit on it. This mat compensates for that and I just feel more supported and comfortable on my couch now. I considered another model of the same brand that includes shiatsu massage. the reason I chose not to go with that particular model is because I intend to leave this cushion on my couch at all times when I'm sitting on it. I think the shiatsu cushion would feel amazing, but the balls embedded in the cushion would be obtrusive and uncomfortable when I just want to sit without using the massage feature. For that reason, I like this model that uses vibrating massage and feels comfortable at all times when I'm sitting - whether I've got it turned on or not. That's a decision each person will need to make for themselves when considering the type of cushion to purchase. It all depends on your intended use. That said, I've been extremely impressed so far with the quality of the product and their responsive customer service when activating my warranty. Not only are they timely, but they are friendly as well. It doesn't feel like a detached, auto-generated email that we all have received at one time or another. This is a great value and I can easily recommend it with 5 stars. I would not change my decision to purchase it one bit. I expect others who make this purchase will be glad they did as well. It exceeds my expectations.
