I’ve looked through a bunch of different outdoor lines and this one did not disappoint. The quality of this line is great, it is a very vibrant color what hold up in all types of weather and conditions. The clip is strong and secure. That is so important since I have two very big dogs at 84lbs and 68lbs. This line has held up against their constant ruckus. It has a little twist lock as well for extra safety and a bungee to help absorb the shock. I like to hook mine around a tree so it is a nice and sturdy base. ... show more

This is the only tie out that has lasted us for years! The only reason we replaced the first one is because we knicked it with the snowblower. The carabineers are great and never jam or get frozen. We don't have a fenced in yard so this is how we let our dog out when we're not going with her. She's about 35 pounds and has no problem moving around with it. We appreciate the spring for shock absorbency just in case she chases after a deer or something. It gets daily, repetitive use and still going strong. ... show more

I have a fenced in yard but my 3yr old Golden jumps it to visit the neighbors! I have to have a dog lead to keep her in the yard safely if I have to go back into the house! This works very well! I hope she out grows the jumping soon!

I have a giant breed dog who’s a puller on walks. After consulting with many dog-trainers we decided on the long leash technique and this is the leash we keep coming back to. I tie a leash around my waist and connect this super long tie out to myself and my dog so he can enjoy our walks at his own pace; and even chase a ball or two. We’ve put this thing through some very heavy use and it’s held up for the most part. While the latches may become a little (or a lot) loose, they feature a neat little threaded bit that locks them right in place. The whole thing stores easy under my car seat so we can stop at a trail anytime. Rain, snow, walking in the creek.. it gets the job done; and unlike other tie-outs, the black coated metal on the ends of this doesn’t rust easily. And so, to make our long story and our long walks with this long leash very short: can I just say, we love it. ... show more

PERFECT for my new dog! It was easy to use and looks terrific. It is sturdy and durable and she has not gotten out of it once. (Tho she has pulled her collar off with it attached - but that is her problem and not the product's fault). It doesn't tangle on itself - but my dog surely does get tangled running around trees or other things - again, not a fault of the product but the fault of my dog.). It can be frustrating to attach it to her when she is excited - the screw on the carabiner latch takes time to screw on or off and an excited dog doesn't make it easy - but that's really just a minor inconvenience. I just ordered my second one. After needing to replace my other tie out cables in less than a year and most of the time within months, I can happily report that this brand lasted for 3 years! At first when I tried to purchase again by finding my prior purchase it said it was no longer available and I was extremely disappointed. My thought was, here we go again with trial and error every 2-4 months again. While searching for another cable like theirs with the carbine clip, I found the same product from the same seller as last time. Needless to say that made my day. Not only do I have a good quality product at a reasonable price but their customer service was excellent as well.
