  • Hot coffee without spills
Color: Black
Too big for some car cupholders, but GREAT for hot coffee for 6 hours!

  • Failed within a month
Color: Black
The mug worked fine for the first period of time, but it spontaneously stopped working within a month. It won’t charge on the charging station and it shows the apparent error code E1. This error is present even when it is plugged into power via the USB-C. I reached out on the SMRTMUGG website without receiving a response to my request for troubleshooting help. We never placed this in a dishwasher, and when hand washed the rubber cover over the USB-C was always in place. This is a waste of $100. I was hopeful this would be a good travel solution, and I am disappointed ... show more

  • Like the dual function
Color: Black
Purchased as a gift for my MIL, I own a different brand of same concept. I like that this one has a travel lid and the addition of the charging port for phones. Great for people with ADHD and hyper focus, busy professionals or parents who don't get to drink their coffee immediately. I like that this one has temp control on the mug itself. ... show more

  • Great mug for office or home
Color: Black
Great product. Much better design than the Ember cup. No coaster pins to fail and no app required. I had to replace 3 Ember coasters at $35+- because of charging pin failure. The one con I have found so far is that if I leave the lid off the mug, it has difficulty maintaining the 140-145 degree temperature I have set. It falls to 135 degrees and maintains that temperature. If the lid is on, no problem maintaining temperatures. So the lid not only affects the battery charge time but also temperature control. I really like the wireless charging for my phone (S22 with case) and coffee cup (no pins to fail). I would recommend this product. ... show more

  • Meh, almost good
Color: Black
After coming to the conclusion that my ember mug is overpriced and has a terrible charging mechanism, I thought I would give this one a go. As for charging goes, it is incredibly simple and has the bonus of two spots to charge (only one side seems to work however), but it is also INCREDIBLY slow to charge. So slow that while on the charger the battery will still drain if using it to heat liquid. Compared to the Ember, it wins on usability and loses badly on function. As far as keeping things to temp goes, this fails miserably as compared to the Ember, making this mug an extremely expensive thermos-phone charger combo. The digital thermostat readout is accurate, which is a very nice feature as it compares to the Ember, but that's basically all it does. It will not heat or keep anything at a desired temperature. It will tell you the temperature you set it at, and the current temp of the liquid, but that is it. Another major thing to compare to Ember is the battery and heater housing. This also is far superior to the Ember, especially when washing. This feels a lot less likely to break if it gets wet as all the charging components are sealed within, where the Ember's are exposed. This is also likely why the Ember is more effective at charging; because there is metal-to-metal contact on the charging plate. The final leg up on Ember is the paint/material. I have only had this cup a few months, but use it nearly daily and it is in great repair (aside from not really working as I had hoped). The Ember on the other hand is starting to crack and lose its paint - on the inside - which is not ideal given the cost. TL;DR - if you want something to be convenient and charge your phone without too much concern of cost or effectiveness, then this is your cup. If you want your cup to do what it is supposed to, get an Ember, but be prepared to buy new charging discs and ingest some paint. ... show more

This heated coffee mug were great look good but didn’t last only one month and then failed to charge after that! Hope they work out the kinks in this thing!

  • Keep Beverage Hot Up to 160°
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. This producxt is helpful in keeping your beverage hot, especially if you use the cover it comes with, plus it helps prolong the battery life. This is not for heating up cold liquid. To turn off/on, press the - and + sign simultaneously, and to adjust temperature press either the -/+ [temperature can be set from 95°-160°]. Temperture reading seem spot on, as my beverage was hotter than the highest temperature you can set this mug on, it went down to the temp I set it on within approximately 5 minutes and stayed at that temp for the duration of 2 hours I was using it. You can walk around with this mug easily with the lid in place and the temp will stay where you've set it at, as long as the battery has charge. Having set the mug on the provided charging pad the night before, I thought it was good to go the next day, but within an 1.5 hour of use with the lid on, the message E1 popped up. I think it's best [for me anyway] to charge this product via the port on the back of the mug. The mug is made of stainless steel, but the exterior will stay cool to the touch. Connecting the USB-C to the charge pad can be a challenge due to the space surroudning it, but you can always plug it into the USB-C port on the back of the mug by removing the rubber cover protector, just don't forget to replace before washing. This would be a great gift for those who loves to drink hot beverages, no matter the time of day. ... show more

  • Does not keep anything actually warm, even though the battery goes down
Color: Black
OK, first time trying to use it right out of the box. Fully charged it up, and even am keeping it on its base, and it doesn't keep even near the temperature setting. I have it set here at 145F about half full of tea. Started with boiling water and here we are now not that much later and it is already down to 121F.... As I have been writing this, it is now down to 118F. I think it might actually get colder quicker than my regular coffee cup. Just doesn't seem to work at all. Guess this one is a clunker and going to have to return it and try another brand. I really wanted to have a wireless charging one like this at worked with Qi, which I think would be great, but alas this one just doesn't seem to work at all..... Most of the other brands actually require contacts on their base and lining them up correctly. UPDATE: Giving one star back as seller promptly contacted me and offered a no hassle return on the item. So maybe I just got a complete lemon (it happens). I hope it works better for others. The wireless charging feature would be great if it does! ... show more
