I purchased this SMEG fridge with high expectations due to the brand’s reputation and price point. Unfortunately, the unit has been a huge disappointment from the start. The fridge constantly trips my circuit breaker, even though I just had over $20,000 of electrical work done in my home that passed inspection. A licensed electrician confirmed that the issue appears to be with the fridge’s internal wiring, not my home. Amazon has refused to replace the unit, despite just purchasing it. The delivery process was also a disaster — the delivery team damaged my floors due to careless handling. They scraped the fridge across my hardwood floors without even picking it up to move. For such an expensive appliance, I expected far better quality and service. I would not recommend this product or this buying experience to anyone. ... show more

It's a beautiful fridge. The freezer compartment takes some getting use to since it is so small. Extra care must be taken to ensure it is closed correctly. User should be a fan of fresh, not frozen, food.
