These two big pieces are falling apart. The stand mixer functions properly though. Would it be fine letting it be like this or should I ask for a repair?

Didn't manage its way though a pre-bought roll mix used according to directions. Seemed like it was really struggling, and before 7 minutes of kneading on a setting of 1, it overheated and a bit of smoke came out. It still looked good, even when it was dead. Adding a star for style.
