So much better than using parchment paper. The size fits perfectly in my 6 quart Dutch oven. The handles are long enough to easily lift the bread out without being too long making it easier to cover with lid. I have used at high temperatures of 400*- 450* without issue. I have used with and without using oil/cooking spray and nothing has ever stuck or burned.

They work just as they should. The only thing I would change is shorter handles - in order to make bread with the great artisan crust you need to seal the dutch oven with the lid so it will mimic a steam oven - so the handles need to be tucked inside and if they were a couple inches shorter they would just sit against the side and also not interfere with the heat getting to the bread! (Will likely cut them to fit my dutch).

I originally ordered an oval one, but quickly found out that was the wrong shape for my Dutch oven. I decided that I would order these lovely round ones and this is it! This is where it's at! Maybe someday I'll get an oval Dutch oven or maybe I'll just give the oval one away, but the round ones are here to stay! The colors are nice and I like that there's two in a set...with a spatula! I needed another spatula to replace a different one the finally bit the dust, so this is perfect! A+++
