Note: this doesn't come with an angle grinder wrench. They expect you to use the included Allen key. Such a system seems to work fine, but it is definitly an odd thing to skip and I can't help feel slightly miffed. It is listed as cheaper than what was at my local hardware store had and has got plenty of power. I don't like to skimp on angle grinders so DEWALT and Milwaukee are my go to. I run a shop and both brands hold up to the abuse of everyone using them with little regard for preserving tool longevity. I haven't noticed any significant quality difference between them. ... show more

5 years ago I didn't even own an angle grinder and now this purchase is my third angle grinder purchase the first one was a Ryobi and died within the warranty got repaired and then died again outside of the warranty and hit the recycle bin the next one I grabbed was one of those cheap ones from Harbor Freight which was a little smaller and weaker and slowed down my job performance what was eventually fully dead the motor caught on fire now I'm at a good angle grinder that's more than the price of those previous two sum together so now what's up my half a decade of experience using these I can tell you what I like about it with comparison to a larger one and a smaller one than this. I like the fact when you let go of it it's off but it still takes a while to slow down like any angle grinder better just to push the disc into the material you're grinding to slow it down quicker. What I miss about my Ryobi was it had a thread hole on the top so you could thread it in and rotate and do side cuts for cutting into paver stones. The cord on this is the most heavy duty I've ever seen! Plastic handles on any manufacturers grinders are all pretty much the same, it'll last but it always seems less substantial than it could be. I honestly wish it was a little longer to get your hand even further from the blade. And since I work directly with concrete, the cover is off so I can take on all angles for the sculpting process. I've learned that way the whole way minusxa guard, but with all my safety gear on, not much is exposed anyway. It's a very powerful machine and easy to control and easy to clean up. And as always, enjoy the mess an angle grinder makes, and wear a respirator mask, eye, and hearing protection. I found wish it had the double pin hole wrench instead of an Allen key for unsticking a tight collet. Though my trick is to unplug it, then push in the motor lock button and wearing work gloves, reverse turn the disc and it always unlocks the seized collar for me. Prior to that trick, I always uses those pin wrenches, and the cheap ones always warped and got recycled. So we'll see how long this angle grinder lasts...in my hands, I clearly know I can kill them.
